'The Maison de Tari is a perfect place to stay for families looking to explore the area around Sarlat. We stayed in a family room with three small children and it suited us perfectly. All rooms had a separate outside sitting area with a large table. It had a good sized pool, a separate communal cooking and dining area, including a gas BBQ and a fridge. A great continental breakfast was provided that included fresh pastries from the local bakery, and a selection of local jams, cheeses and meats....

'The staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The brand new room was lovely. My only complaint is that although the bedroom and separate living area has good room darkening draperies, the bathroom had a sheer window covering. We could see people walking one the street below through them, so we knew they could also see us with the light on, so we couldn't dress or shower in there during hours with din lighting.'
