'Location right to the beach, its a bit older hotel and lunch/dinner could be better'

'It was enjoyable. We liked staying there. We just had a few issues with the electric - AC, and hot water. There wasn’t much of a nightlife. But other wise everything else was great and we had a lot of fun. '

'Clean room, friendly staff, food variety, atmospheric (relaxed) and overall peaceful experience. The grounds do need a bit of a facelift (we returned after 11 years and it appears EXACTLY the same), but no stars lost just a friendly suggestion. '

'Staff was amazing with my families allergies. (Celiac disease and a peanut allergy). Food was delicious and we all got to enjoy desserts!! (Doesn’t happen often for us). All the staff was friendly and did a great job making us feel at home. The room was clean and beds are comfy! Pools are great. I liked the beach feel to them with easy walk in access. '

'My stay with Hotel Del Aserradero was very short-notice. The price was reasonable and the staff excelled at communication. The hotel contacted me immediately via WhatsApp to confirm my stay, transportation options, and what the stay had and didn’t have in regards to amenities. The room was clean and the bathroom was very modern. The sleeping area was average. I would stay here again. '

'Hidden gem. We were up in the mountains where it rained so decided to spend last night of our trip in cocoa Beach area. Rooms spotless host amazing and the best part as an animal lover was the rescue animals that are on the property. I have two myself. Will definitely be back.'

'Beautiful grounds, comfortable room, there is a restaurant on site so you don’t have to worry about getting to another place. There is no airport shuttle but they can order you a taxi for about $20. U.S. stayed twice and would stay again.'

'Convenient close to the airport. 12 minute drive with our rental car. From the city it is also only a 5 minute drive. I would not recommend to walk. Breakfast was freshly made and consists out of typical Costa Rican hot dish, toast, cereals and fresh fruit. We did not eat at the restaurant in the evening. The room was convenient and clean. The bed was good. Relaxing at the end of the day you can do at the well maintained pool area. The entire staff was friendly and helpful. '
