'This place is just awesome! Everything (rooms, shared bathrooms, community area) is clean, looks brandnew, nice community area to hang around. Quiet during the nighttime as it is located in a small road next to the main road. Still everything is in walking distance. I have never experienced such nice staff members. They are willing to help you with everything, always have a smile on their face 😃 If you're looking for a hostel in Banyuwangi look no further - you have just found it!'

'10 out of 10. The complex has a pleasing layout - surrounded by padi fields and a small pool. Sitting in lounge chairs, we saw many birds (rails, herons and egrets, and swiftlets). The rooms are clean and comfortable. The outdoor bathroom was spacious and always had hot water. The food was simple, fresh and delicious. The owner immediately responded to our every request, recommended activities and restaurants, and arranged shuttles. He made it easy for us to enjoy rural Bali with...

'Walking distance from the "white sand beach" allowing free snorkling and very good place to go diving in Menjangan island. Apart from that, the value for money is good considering the low price. NB : the owner is really invested in the Biorock project and the education of young Balinais. '

'I love this area, it’s much quieter and bland in with the local village and people. The cabins are great and the views are excellent. The only thing is that the cabins can get bit too hot, better ventilation or more sufficient fan would make lots of difference. The staff was without fault. Very happy overall.'

'Wonderful outdoor space and plenty of room indoors too in this semi rural home in a remote part of Bali. The garden is very large and immaculate and the pool lovely. Beautiful mountain views.Plenty of seating and much needed shade. The manager, Putu, was excellent-very helpful and easy to get hold of. He will arrange transport and excursions whenever you want them.The walk to the town with its beach, many restaurants and amenities is almost a km down a narrow potholed lane with some (slow)...
