'We enjoyed our stay in this clean little cabin in the mountains. We especially enjoyed the coffee bar and the fact we could bring our dogs!'

'The view of the lake is beautiful. The bed was very comfortable. The manager was very quick to answer any questions I had. The only negative is the hill to the lake. Its not awful but if you have mobility issues it would be a problem. Over all we (dog included) loved this place.'

'This home is great for a peaceful get-away. With the exception of one other home nearby, it's almost on its own, so it's quiet enough to enjoy the sounds of nature. A short drive took us down through a neighborhood to sit by the lake. Back at the house, it was nice to end evenings watching the bright stars from the porch. Sherry was very responsive and friendly when we had questions.'

'The property was very clean, inviting, and spacious for our family. Loved that it has its own little private beach and the firepit made for very enjoyable lakeside evenings. Staff was very responsive when assistance was needed, and we'll definitely keep this property on the horizon for another visit. The biggest challenge was navigating the very narrow private road. 'We loved Four Fillies! The property was kept up very well and was so beautiful. I loved the sound of the creek. We travelled back and forth from Blacksburg which was a bit of a trek (45 minutes) but was a fairly easy drive. it was so worth it!'

'I like it. I would book again but in warmer weather for me. I enjoy the scenry, the openness and the quietness. One suggestion, maybe i overlooked it but state that cell phone connectivity is low due to area. If you have a wifi code you should include it in welcome letter as when you get there the service is very low to non existing.'

'This property provides a wonderful riverside stay on the New River right on the river with easy access and easy parking right in front of the cabin efficiency. Close access to to the Whitehorne Boat Ramp for those the need a ramp as well as the scenic McCoys Falls right up Rt 625. Communication and instructions was excellent to plan our arrival and stay for the weekend.We look forward to coming back again this summer.'

'My husband and I with our daughters and Husbands parents enjoyed this rental for our youngest daughters graduation from RU. We especially liked being able to have our meals from home verses trying to find resturants and long wait times and highlight was fishing from the boat dock.'

'The outdoor space on this property is stunning. There is a lot of outdoor space to entertain and the views are so pretty. Would be amazing for a summer party. The inside was very musty when we first got there and we had to go out and get candles to chase away the smell. By the next day it was pretty much gone so I’m thinking it just hadn’t been used in a while.'

'This cabin was absolutely perfect for our family! The property is so beautiful and private. We were there for my daughter's graduation from Virginia Tech. I only wish we had a little more time to relax by the firepit and enjoy the soothing sounds of the stream that runs along the property.'

'We absolutely loved the creek! My two dogs loved playing and swimming, and my husband and I loved sitting by the peaceful water flowing by. They got so worn out playing in the creek, and also all the great hiking nearby! Great location, close to Blacksburg if you want to go into town, but isolated enough to be able to relax in nature. The house itself was very clean and comfortable to stay in. We also enjoyed having a fire in the fire pit each night. We would definitely stay here again!'

'Mr. Hunter's cottage is a lovely cottage from a by-gone era. Located in the mountains of Giles county, VA, this cottage is comfortable with 2 bedrooms and 2 baths. The cottage is furnished with pieces that could have been there when it was built. The cottage has a beautiful porch, a great place for morning coffee. 'The bus was awesome! Had everything we needed for a short stay. Comfortable bed, a nice fire pit, shower, toilet, and refrigerator. Lacking ample firewood scavenging. Suggest bring your own firewood. Recommend keeping your dogs away from woods as there were an abundance of brier prickers.'
