'We stayed for 2 nights in a family room, our room was small for 4 people but had everything we needed. The sofa bed wasnt the best, however we asked for a 2nd duvet to put ontop of the mattress and they were bmvery obliging and helpful. The staff are very courteous and nothing was too much trouble. The room was spotlessly clean. The kids loved the sweets left for them. The filter coffee in the room was a really nice touch. We ate in the restaurant the 1st evening and the food was very nice and...

'Very comfortable room. The first night a little warm but after turning the heating down better the 2nd. Very good water pressure in the shower and good toiletries (white company) Ate both nights of our stay and the food was very good. Staff where very good through out the hotel but it was a little frustrating when our dessert arrived without any cutlery and it took 5 mins before they noticed. Good location for Chatsworth and other local attractions. Would stay here again.'

'A clean, warm and tidy accommodation which is convenient for walking down into Buxton centre. We stayed just one night for an Opera House theatre show and it was great for that. On street parking nearby was easy.'

'It's on a round-a-bout which means that you have to look for the carpark. There is one & it is close by. We didn't stay in the hotel but in the Coachhouse. Breakfast was very good, staff are friendly. Has all the facilities but it's greatest plus point is where it is. Although I can imagine that some rooms could be quite noisy. '

'A great place to stay at if you plan to visit Chatsworth or Bakewell area It is like going back in time, but still get to enjoy modern amenities. All staff we encountered with were all super nice and welcoming. The room was amazing and food was superb. '

'Staff were excellent. Food very good. Appreciated group of 10 having separate area for meals. Not keen on the bath in the bedroom, nowhere reachable to put soap or shampoo. No washbasin in the toilet. Would be better to make shower room with toilet. Bath not easy to get in and out.'
