'Check-in tijd was 16 uur, we kwamen om 18 uur, de kamer was nog niet klaar, uiteindelijk bleek het een prima kamer te zijn rond 18:45 uur. In de omgeving niet veel te doen, maar dat gaf niet we waren op doorreis. We waren met 4, in de beschrijving stond dat er gratis ontbijt zo zijn. We kregen 2 vouchers ter waarde van $8,-, prima bedrag maar moesten wel voor 2 personen betalen. Helaas'

'My second stay at Holiday Inn Express at Arcata was much like my first. Exceptional! The only minor complaint was the cleaning of the sheet metal roof during the day. It’s a petty complaint as it’s routine maintenance that needs to be done. It does not detract from my stay and experience in Arcata!! Hopefully they don’t get any negative reviews because of the work. '

'I stayed during the expensive graduation weekend. The price was much lower than most other hotels. Front desk was friendly at check in. There were a couple of insignificant issues with the room like poor lighting, and the bathroom fan was loud, but none of the issues that seriously interfere with feelings of safety and comfort that you often face with hotels priced this low. I highly recommend if you're on a budget. '

'It was a nice and different experience staying in the woods. Definitely not for people with kids under 15 as the loft and bedroom are in different cabins away from each other. The online description didn’t mention the compost toilet, which makes the pricing unfair. The price we paid was way to much for going through the hassle of composite toilet and the make shift Kitchenette. It was nice experience but not worth $ 400 + dollars for a night and the treehouse is just whatever. Won’t be back for...

'Great location. The cabin is next to some other cabins, not sure if they’re rentals, or other people who live on the property. So it wasn’t quite as private as I was anticipating. But over all it was a great place to stay for a few days. It might be a little tricky to find if you arrive after dark.'

'My fiancé and I enjoyed our stay in this cute place. It was very clean and comfortable! We really enjoyed being able to hear the ocean at night with the window open. The beach is a longer walk from the property but the location is a great jump off point for many of the local beaches and forest access…. We did not get in until late and were very touched that the host had left lights on for us inside! We would definitely stay here on a return trip.'

'We absolutely loved our stay at this cute cabin. I was amazed how close it was to town & how the cabin was stocked with literally everything we needed from bathroom supplies to kitchen supplies. Someone could literally live there. I am happy we got in before prices go up for the busy season but I will definitely want to stay there again!! The beds weee SO comfortable I want the mattress in my house!!! Thank you!!!!'
