'We stayed in different rooms on April 29 and on May 1, 2026. The rooms seemed recently renovated. This is a no-frills accommodation: there are a little refrigerator and cups, but no coffee-maker. The concierge on each night was welcoming and competent. My only complaint is that on the second night, our supposedly non-smoking room smelled strongly of stale tobacco smoke. 'The elevator area has spider webs you have to get around in the doer ways to get into it. The elevator looks as though it’s never been cleaned. The walls are so thin you can hear the other people next doo whispering'

'The property was dirty and multiple people ( I couldn’t tell if they were guests or not) were always in and out of the lobby asking for money and cigarettes. I booked this property for the advertised hot tub and was informed it had been broken for a long time and didn’t sound like it’s going to be fixed any time soon. Check in took over 20 minutes as the single front desk staff member argued with a customer who had no reservation and wanted a discount on the deposit, which they were given.'

'The building is an early Portland mansion that’s been maintained well and upgraded to some extent, keeping the charm of the era in which it was built but meeting the standards of today.
