Cute apartment right beside the Louvre.
The location is perfect for walking to all the great sites and restaurants. The apartment is cute and had all we needed. The old stairs and court yard give it a very authentic Paris feel. Unfortunately check in was an issue. We didn’t have all the information and had to contact the owner numerous times to gain access. The tv didn’t work for more than 5 minutes on any station.

Je tiens à préciser que si vous n'avez pas eu les informations d'accès à mon appartement, c'est que vous avez utilisé le nom de Madame qui avait fait une première réservation puis avait annulé. Ensuite Monsieur a réservé sous son nom pour des dates différentes. Il est très important de communiquer avec le nom de la personne qui a réellement réservé. Mon erreur a été de vous répondre quand même car c'est la première fois que cette situation se produit. Mais comme vous l'avez dit vous avez quand même pu me joindre! Au revoir !Danielle

Location was terrific. On St. Louis we found wonderful stores to buy cheese and produce. Vegetable/fruit store had wonderful prepared take away items. Kitchen well stocked with utensils. FYI there is a light switch outside front door to turn on stair light.

Can’t find a better location!
This property is in the perfect location. We walked to museums and parks in 15 minutes. We were close to the Metro and any transportation that we could have needed. The building and apartment are perfect. Loved the quiet courtyard, and friendly neighbors. So many restraints to chose from right around the corner. Thank you for everything.

The Best!

An Amazing, Memorable Vacation
We thoroughly enjoyed our week at Danielle's lovely apartment! It was our first visit to Paris & it was a convenienct location, allowing us to explore the area with ease. The famous Notre Dame is just around the corner, and there's plenty of great restaurants & shopping within walking distance. Danielle contacted us via text & was very helpful from beginning to end! We would certainly stay in her historical apartment again.

Super Appartement
Die Lage des Appartements auf der Isle de la Cité ist traumhaft - mitten in der Stadt und trotzdem ganz ruhig, man kann bei offenen Fenster schlafen. Es ist gemütlich und geschmackvoll eingerichtet, so dass wir uns gleich dort zu Hause gefühlt haben. Das Bad schick und gepflegt, Mit einer tollen Regendusche. Die kleine Küche, die gut ausgestattet ist und ein sehr bequemes Bett machten unseren Aufenthalt perfekt. Leider konnten wir nur 5 Nächte bleiben und wären sehr gerne noch länger geblieben.

Fantastic location.The apartment was clean and all the systems worked. It is a third floor walk-up as explained by the owner. However the stairs are twisty and worn with age. Not a good choice for those with mobility issues.

Fabulous location and well equipped
Apartment was really lovely and well equipped kitchen, and had a washing machine which was fantastic. A really good use of space and comfortable. Only problem I had is that I arrived to a Paris heatwave which no one can control. However like most flats, there is no AC which is normally not a problem but for a couple of days, it was because it did not cool at night enough so watch for that if sensitive to the heat. Otherwise, it was perfect.

Fin leilighet med flott beliggenhet
Leiligheten er koselig med en flott beliggenhet i ei rolig gate. Notre Dame er I realiteten rett rundt gatehjørnet. Flere gode restauranter og en metrostasjon til/fra Charles de Gaulle i nærheten. Vi kom litt senere enn planlagt, verten gjorde det enkelt å sjekke inn. Vi fant dessverre ikke noe aircondition i leiligheten. Stedet kan varmt anbefales, og vi kommer gjerne tilbake.

great mother daughter trio
i brought my 18 year old daughter to this apartment and it was perfect for our stay. the location was excellent, with a great restaurant across the street and lovely cafe for breakfast around the corner. Easy access to all sights and metro/ train. It is not air conditioned, but we were fine with the fans and windows open. A great experience; we would return.

Wonderful Place in a Great Location
It doesn’t get any more central than this. Staying on the island gave us exactly the proximity we wanted to the sites of Paris. Even though we were literally steps from Notre Dame, our flat was quiet and a peaceful retreat from the bustling city just outside. We loved every moment and can’t wait to return.

This was a great place for us experiencing Paris for the first time. On the Ile de cite, between the left and right bank, ground zero was perfect. Easy walking access to all parts of Paris! While apartment isn’t huge, it provided everything we needed. We would stay there again!

April in Paris.
We visited Paris in April 2022 for 9 days in Danielles Apartment on rue Chainonesse right next to Notre Dame. The place was very neat and convenient for walking all over the place or using the Metro. Once one enters the Courtyard through the security gates, one is in a quiet and peaceful haven. The Apartment is perfect for a couple and we had no issues with the Bedroom area having no windows as you do not have to close off the sleeping area. The Kitchen came well equipped. The Bathroom is very clean with unlimited hot water and a nice shower and the washing machine is a nice bonus/ All in all, a very convenient base in a Historical area of old Paris, convenient in every which way. Highly recommended.

surprise you have unexpected fees
The administrator charged us unagreed fees because it was invented that the place was dirty when we leaving it, however this was not true and her treatment was very bad.

Sorry but that was not the only reason to charge you according to my contract. The internal rules were not respected: you changed arrival time and even you kept Isabel waiting 1 1/2 hours without warning . I would not charge you if you gave her a good tip. Just I had to pay her.

My wife and I stayed here for a week and the experience could not have better. We have been visiting Paris every year for the Christmas markets since 2010 and this has been one of the best places we have stayed.

Beautiful apartment in the center of Paris
The apartment was absolutely beautiful located in a charming building in the middle of Paris. The location could not have been more convenient. Communication with Danielle was easy and she always responded quickly. The check in process was equally as easy. Would stay there again if we make it back to Paris. And yes, the apartment is as beautiful as the pictures shown in the listing and was perfect for my wife and I!

In the center of all the action
Lovely, remodeled flat, around the corner from Notre Dame. We never saw a manager, the keys were left under the rug for us, as we were late for a scheduled arrival due to Paris traffic. Bed was comfortable, but the pillows and bed linen have seen the better days. Towels were thread bare and only one pair each for our 5 day stay. Great bathroom! A bar of soap would be nice, so one can wash hands upon arrival. The central location is the main advantage of this flat, although we didn’t benefit much from that as the area around Notre Dame was all blocked due to construction, taxi and Uber had difficult time finding it. Hopefully,it will be resolved some day. It was hot during the day when we stayed and despite fans and open windows, somewhat difficult to sleep because of it. Overall, I recommend it.

Cute and central to explore Paris
We enjoyed our stay in this quiet and well kept apartment. Everything was as pictured and described and the furnishings were comfortable. We felt safe, loved the courtyard and enjoyed the quiet. It was centrally located and an easy walk to several Metro Stations, shops, wonderful neighborhood patisserie (Hure) and restaurants. I can’t wait to come back and stay here again. Danielle was wonderful and answered questions quickly before we arrived. Merci Danielle for sharing this lovely space-it set the stage for a wonderful visit to Paris.

Staying near the Norte Dame
This was our first trip to Paris. We did not realize beforehand what a perfect location Danielle ‘s apartment is located in. We could walk to almost all of our destinations! The apartment is artistically pleasing- a lovely modern update in a charming old building. The kitchen is has everything you need, the beds are comfortable and the bathroom is beautiful! Danielle was easy to communicate with, answering many questions beforehand and during our stay! We would return to this location and recommend to our family and friends!

Lovely island on an island
We had a lovely time exploring Paris from this beautiful little apartment. Small and cozy, it feels secluded from Paris’s crowds while also providing immediate access to all the sights and adventures available in the center of the city. The apartment is beautifully kept, and the rental and check-in processes were easy and the hosts were helpful. We had no problems or concerns during our stay, but if we had, I felt secure that help was a text or phone call away. Thank you for a perfect introduction to Paris. Good stay after the fire
We loved the location. Unfortunately, our trip was two weeks after the fire at Notre Dame Cathedral. The cathedral iwas blocked off plus traffic was also rerouted from the blocks around the cathedral itself.. Our taxi driver had to drive around the blockades and we finally just walked the last few blocks. It’s still easy to get to the metro stations but the St Michel station on the left bank required a roundabout route getting there.. The apartment is comfortable. There were three of us sharing and we had no problem in the space. Lots of outlets and big shelves in the closet. The apartment is very quiet from street noises but we can hear the people above us sometimes. We didn’t use the washing machine but it’s available. Thank you Danielle for your apartment.

Location was amazing!
From our first step into the gated foliage covered courtyard I knew we had scored! The apartment was adorable, quiet and comfortable. We were around the corner from Notre Dame and I loved hearing the bells ringing. We took advantage of sunset on the Seine which was only a block away. The bakery around the corner was a great way to get coffee and pain au chocolate every morning before heading off for our tours. There are also two great restaurants right outside the gate for afternoon wine and apps or even a long lunch. Dinner on the Ile Saint-Louis is great with a few good places to choose from. Blocks from 2 metro stations that will get you anywhere in Paris too. Guess you can tell that we loved the apartment and our stay-I would stay here again in an instant!!!

Terrific apartment, great location.
We arrived in Paris staying for 4 nights before heading out into the French countryside. We only had 4 days to see all that we wanted to see so the location was terrific. The apartment was clean and had everything that we needed for the 2 of us. The hot spell of summer weather continued into September but we were fine with the windows open and a fan blowing. Check in was easy and we were met at the apartment. The refund of our damage deposit came through promptly. We agree with the good comments about the apartment setup and convenient location stated in the other reviews so there is no need to simply repeat them. We would be happy to return again in the future as we thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

Beautiful apartment! We felt truly Parisienne in this historic flat. Perfect location!
This apartment was exactly what I was looking for in an accommodation. Modern with all the conveniences for a family of 4-washing machine, small kitchen with refrigerator, nice size bathroom and great location for all the tourist sites-steps from Notre Dame. The exterior sold me and was just as described-beautiful old building with courtyard and very secure with locked outer courtyard door, across the street from a police station. Check-in was easy and local information/tips provided. The apartment was clean on arrival and quiet for our entire stay. We loved it and would stay here again!

Great Place
Loved the place. Stayed there for 5 nights. GREAT Location!! Just 2min walk from Notre Dame Cathedral and with in easy Metro access. House was a little small for 4 people with luggage but we were out most of the day and evening. It was extremely hot the week that we were in Paris and with no A/C it was a little difficult but Danielle was kind enough to send in a 2nd table fan when we requested and it got cool at night, Would love to stay there again on our next visit if available.

Wonderful week in the "City of Lights"
The apartment has many positives and one negative. The location is fabulous, within 200 yards of Notre Dame but on a very quiet street with restaurants and a small market close by. The apartment is well appointed and has been nicely updated. The kitchen is great and the bathroom is fabulous by European standards. Loved having a washing machine, but comes with no instructions in English so be sure and really close the washer door very firmly to get the cycle started! The bedroom is small but adequate and the king size bed was very comfortable. The apartment is up 2 flights of stairs which was really no issue and we knew this going in. Everything about the apartment was wonderful and we would have rated the unit 5 stars except for our 1 issue. We were in Paris at the end of June and the weather was mid 80's every day. We knew going in that the apartment did not have AC. The apartment did not have a fan which we had to go out, find and buy. Even with the fan and the 2 windows open, the apartment was stuffy and uncomfortably warm at night. This would be an issue for us in the warm summer months but not the other 8-9 months of the year. The owner, Danielle was easy to work with and our deposit was promptly refunded. One other fact is the building is directly accoss the quiet street from a large, National Police location. There was always a police presence on our street but never any sirens or inconvenience. We viewed this as a positive. Great location and close to Ile de St. Louis. 5 minutes to Metro stop.

Beautiful and cozy
This place was so perfect for us! We loved staying in the heart of Notre Dame. The pictures do not do this place justice. The cafes are just minutes away. The beds were so comfortable after a long day out exploring. The bathroom is beautiful. After being gone for a week before the added bonus of doing llaundry was a welcome relief! Would stay here again!

We stayed in the apartment for about a week, but wished it were longer! The place was easy to find; someone was there to greet us even though we had train delays. The location was terrific. We enjoyed ending our nights wandering in front of Norte Dame about five minutes away. The apartment was quiet. The washer worked great, and although there wasn't a dryer, our clothes were dry by the next morning.

Wonderful apartment in the perfect location!
We had a very enjoyable stay at this apartment in Paris. The location was perfect - a great starting point for all our adventures!
