'The property was in a good location relative to areas we traveled to on island, but it was initially confusing to find and overall the building was a bit run down. The interior of the rental was clean with modern fixtures and furniture. The host responded quickly to questions.'

Although there is a warning from the host/owner that nothing can be done about the normal activity such as footsteps. My family did not have a peaceful night because the person's footsteps are heavy and at 1030PM and 330AM, his footsteps going back and forth with tapping sounds for several minutes woke all of us up. 'Sweet little home with everything our family of 3 needed for a few nights. Used the kitchen for meals and the beds are comfy. We loved the pool, large and clean. And of course being next to Carlsmith Beach Park is very special. Friendly, mellow, quiet building. Hoping we can stay again!'

'The complex where this unit is located is in need of some extreme TLC. Once inside the unit, the unit is just ok. It was comfortable for sleeping and the shower had good water pressure. The kitchen pans are in really poor condition. The pictures make it look nicer than I felt it was. We knew it was a studio but the kitchen had no space whatsoever. There were no chairs at the pool and it was not an inviting space at all. The unit will be fine for some, but for me, it was not worth the cost...

'The cottage was very clean and full of household items ready for use. It's a good thing i wake up around 5am because there's a Brahma (seemed like it) rooster next door that helps with the wake up process, hehehe. No need to set your alarm on your phone. The place was breezy once I opened all the windows. Truly a Hawaii experience. Thank you host!'
