Stay right on the BEACH in Unit 611 at Pelican Walk, located on the east end of Panama City Beach on Thomas Drive. Completely renovated in 2022! New bathrooms with custom tile showers, new kitchen, new stainless steel appliances, new washer/dryer combo, 65” Sony TV, king mattress in the bedroom and a queen sized sleeper sofa in the living room. This one bedroom, two FULL bath condo has AMAZING beach and sunset views. From the Gulf front balcony, you will look out beyond the resort style west side pool to the sugar white sand and turquoise water of the Gulf of Mexico. FREE Beach Chairs! Two free beach chair loungers with umbrella service from March 1 to October 31.

Nice condo but the sleeper sofa was horrible, you should not count that as sleeping arrangements and to many little tables and end tables, their is not enough space to set/ put your own stuff when coming for a week

We were very pleased with the condo. It was beautifully decorated and very clean. Kitchen was fully stocked and the beach chairs were a plus. We love Pelican Walk and the location. Will check availability when we plan our next trip.

What a wonderful little condo was perfect for my teen daughter and I. Bed was very comfy and everything was clean, I cleaned again and sanitized for a double effort. One thing is it smelled kinda stuffy but some fabreeze in the living room cured it. Pull out couch ok for a teen not so nuch for an adult. Everything else was perfect only real issue was the elevator was struck by lightning and went down on the other side of the building so that was time consuming but at no fault of the property of course.

Was perfect for just us two, but there were some Maintanence things that need to be taken care of

Blinds were missing from patio, and you could tell there was a water leak from upstairs in the pantry that needs to be fixed since the bucket is still there and roofing damaged. Other than that it was perfect for a small getaway. Wish they had some curtains or blinds in the bedroom because the outside lights are bright.

Overall, very good for the price

The pictures are pretty accurate as to what you get in unit 611. The spaces are small but is not too confining for 2 or 3 people. There is some light maintenance needed. However, there are two issues that need immediate attention: the bed is intolerably hard and lumpy, bring a pillow topper; the cookware, dining 'sets', and especially the utensils all need replacing. Seriously consider bringing some if you plan on extended stay and meal prep. All that said, it's a pretty good deal for the price, view, and space for a couple for a week. As a previous review noted, it didn't have a wine opener, but now it does ;)

Easy spot on the beach, with lots of space

This condo is surrounded by homes so we had plenty of space, unlike some of the places stacked on top of each other. Great place, easy to visit and relax. Place had lots of basics to make staying easy, except a wine opener :) Just wish it had a code on the door to make it easier to access, office line was busy when we tried to call.

Nice property but needs some updating

Perfect location. We loved the complex and the staff. But this condo needs some work. A deep cleaning is needed and the place also needs some updated furniture and decor. The wallpaper in the bathroom is falling off the walls. The TV in the bedroom is from the 90’s. The carpet is stained. Make sure you bring dish washer detergent and paper towels.

Condo not what it seems

Pros: Awesome view, sparkling clean pool/ hot tub, and only steps to the beach. The property manager let us check in early which was much appreciated. Cons: Condo is in disrepair. Heavy stench of stale smoke greeted us when we arrived. I purposely booked a non-smoking condo due to allergies / asthma. We had to buy air fresheners and sanitizer to make the smell livable (still gross, though). Shower in master had multiple issues; tub drained VERY slow. Basically, you would be standing in 2-3 inches of dirty water while using, there was mold on ceiling and dilapidated wallpaper, bed linens had what appeared to be bloodstains. The shower is also lower than normal as if made for a very short person. As it were, it was difficult to feel "clean". As to the second bathroom, the fan was covered in dust and the shower was also sketchy. The living room had a layer of either black dust or mold on the ceiling near the air vent. The ceiling fan was missing several lights and the blinds on the balcony door fell off track at the tiniest of movement. The balcony door also needs work. The furniture is old, saggy, and chipped. In summary, the outside property and facilities are well kept, but this specific condo is not. For the price point, I have rented other PCB condos in much better condition. I would recommend the property but at all costs, please avoid spending your money on this specific unit. It needs work to be up to par. Note: I did not log any maintenance requests as I was on vacation and did not want to deal with the hassle. I did leave detailed notes so that hopefully, some of these items will be addressed before the next renter checks in.

Pictures are deceiving. Unit has much potential but owner obviously doesn't want to invest in it.

Mattress in bedroom was comfortable but couldn't sleep well due to light coming thru window, black out drapes desperately needed. Uncomfortable living room couch needs to be replaced.Tub in bathroom has chunks out of it. Faucets in both bathrooms appear to date back to when built, as do all fixtures in both bathrooms. Sink faucet in hall bath sprays from bottom onto countertop and shower needs an adjustment or new seal to keep all water in shower, not on bathroom floor. Toilets flushed, thank you. No problems with frig, dishwasher, microwave and toaster in kitchen. Didn't use the stove, ate out mostly. Unit is in need of some TLC. Wouldn't mind to stay there again but not until some upgrades are in place. Complex was nice, staff friendly and location was good.

Good, Bad, Ugly!!

My family and I stayed at this condo from July 21-28 2018. The Good: The Pelican Walk condo and staff are great! The building and grounds are very well maintained and the staff was upbeat, professional and very polite. The beach is fantastic and the location is close to many nearby attractions without being in the congested section of PCB. The Bad: Do yourself a favor and DO NOT stay in in this room! The pictures on the VRBO listing are not a true representation of what the condo looks like in July 2018. The condo was not adequately stocked with typical rental essentials such as a wine opener, pizza cutter, pot holders, hair dryer complete set of silver wear etc. While these items are not super important that are pretty standard in condo rentals in this area. The view from the balcony is beautiful except for the dirty patio furniture with stained and ripped cushions as well as an obstructed view (municipal satellite antenna) of the famous PCB sunsets. This is not a game changer but future renters should be aware. The Ugly: This room is in desperate need of upgrades to pull the weekly rate they are currently charging and it is VERY DIRTY. We found mildew on the shower curtain, ¼ inch of dust on the fan blades, 2 pairs of underwear on the side of the washing machine, mold on both of shower heads, multiple stained / buckling ceiling tiles (from previous water damage), an electrical outlet without a cover (exposed electrical wires) and several electrical outlets that were not working. I know we paid a cleaning fee but it sure didn’t reflect it in this condo. My family and I have been vacationing in PCB for over 5 years and have never encountered a condo in this condition. We talked to other guests at the condo and even viewed their rooms and found them to be very nice, clean, updated and fully furnished with rental provisions. Do stay at the Pelican Walk condo but DO NOT waste your time and money on this room!

We loved our first PCB experience!

Pelican Walk 611 was a great place to stay for my wife and I on our first ever trip to PCB. It was in a less busy area of PCB which we liked (Thomas Drive as opposed to Front Beach Rd.), but still close enough to everything we wanted to experience. We had a blast at Shell Island, seeing dolphins, renting scooters for a day, Shopping at Pier Park, and great seafood at a lot of local restaurants! The view of the ocean was our favorite part of the condo. The condo was clean and comfortable. The beach access was very convenient. The Pelican Walk staff was kind and helpful. We would definitely consider staying at this property again in the future!

We will definitely be coming back!

Our condo was great - beautiful view & the room met our needs perfectly. We loved the location - close to everything, but not super crowded at the beach. The staff was very friendly & helpful, and the pools and common areas were all nice and clean. The room itself was cozy and clean, and the bed was comfy (though my kids said the sofa bed could use a better mattress). All other furniture was comfy as well, including the patio furniture. One lamp in the bedroom did not work and the drop ceiling could use some work (evidence of previous leaks) but these things would definitely not stop us from booking this room again. The wi-fi signal was excellent, and there was a smart TV with Netflix so that we were able to watch movies in the evening. We definitely plan to stay at Pelican Walk again in the future!
