Condo was as described

Condo was nice. Check in and elvatirs were awful. Pools need to be updated. You will have to wait at 10 minutes for elevators duringg most of the time. Will not stay in this place again. Prices we're to high too.

Looks Great, Not Great

This looks great online; however, upon closer inspection - not so great. The Furniture: Very old, almost to the point of unusable. The chairs were broken and uncomfortable. The sofa was the most egregious - it was so used that the cushions kept sinking into the sofa. The AC Unit - VERY Loud and ran constantly, so it kept us awake some throughout the night. The Bathroom - Master Bath showerhead desperately needs to be replaced, it was old and sprayed everywhere but where it should spray. Also, I don't expect spa level soaps in the bathrooms. I do expect to have hand soap that actually lathers though. What we were given smelled industrial, and didn't lather. If the furniture was in better condition, I would have forgiven the rest - but the furniture in this condo looked like it was second hand from a Fraternity House.

14th floor stay

We arrived and had no idea for 10 minutes how we would get into the room after checking in. The front desk said they had no info and we’d get it from who we booked with. No communication said we would get the code 10 minutes later. Nothing said the property had zero luggage carts. The elevators are ridiculous, squeezing or wait 20 minutes in the sauna of a glass room. Construction work lasting all hours 6a-10p. Our 14th floor balcony door didn’t lock, we had a toddler with us, no one on property would help. Emailed and over 24 hours later was told maintenance would come. No one ever came. The room was as pictured, but DIRTY, the wallpaper was pealing off the wall, the sofa was beyond needing replaced, if it was cleaned before we came they left cookie wrappers and trash on the floor in the living room. The master bathroom needs a deep cleaning and shower replaced. The A/C unit was about to go out and screamed the whole trip. The property was giant and had lots of pool choices. All the pools were ice cold at the end of may, they said online they were heated. The walk to beach across the street wasn’t bad. The steps at the end of the boardwalk were annoying.

13th Birthday trip

The room was perfect for my son, his friends and myself for his 13th birthday trip. I was concerned because the reviews I read said the elevator wait times were very long. We never had any trouble getting an elevator. The room was spacious and I loved having the washer and dryer so I didn't have to go home and do laundry or deal with wet clothes/towels. I would recommend getting a few more wash rags, however. We really enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning!

Stay Away From this Property OWNER!!

The property was as described but could be stocked better and make sure to bring your own towels because they do not give you adequate amount. Location is close to everything. You are in a very busy area, the pools during spring break time are cold and lots of police are patrolling in this area. The Beach is very crowded and not lots of room on the beach and overwhelming. With Pineapple Willy's right there its a very young crowd and very busy, so be prepared. The hotel wasn't that clean and smelt like smoke and musty inside. The washer quit working on our trip, and with our disabled son this was a problem and had to waste a day waiting for someone to come because we had no idea when he was coming because the host is terrible at communicating. Then the guy working on the washer told us there is nothing he could do and our stuff was locked in the washer. He then left and said for me to get ahold of the host. After calling and email finally the next day, the host told me that they would mail back my clothes and to go use a different unit on property to do laundry. Which was great and we were happy with that until we dropped off two bags of clothes and filled the washer up with clothes to come back at 3pm where our clothes were taken from the cleaning company and thrown away. This HOST has refused to take any calls from me or VRBO to get money back and said sorry. They reimbursed me one night stay for the troubles which doesn't come close to what we lost. BEAWARE of this HOST!

Love the Wharf!

Great location- Walmart across the street for groceries- beautiful beach across the street. Yes there is Pickleball- we welcomed by locals at both the Wharf and Lyndell Centre only a 5 min drive away. Condo was clean the view spectacular!

Nice property, sucky elevators

Nice property, comfortable bed, great location, HORRIBLE ELEVATORS. 3 of 5 elevators were broken for majority of our stay and elevator wait times got up to 30+minutes. We carried $200 worth of groceries up 8 flights of stairs. If you don’t want to wait or don’t want to take the stairs- look elsewhere. The elevators will keep us from renting at this location again.

Won’t be going here again.

We were here for 4 weeks. The refrigerator ice maker was broken. They told us to go buy ice. The hair dryer was broken. They told us to go buy one at Walmart. The refrigerator was very old and rusted on the outside. The dish washer is not attached to anything so it tips when you open the door. The “gourmet kitchen doesn’t even have matching plates or silverware. It is a complete mismatch of everything. They offered to pay for the ice which hasn’t happened yet. Will not be going back here. The internet did work very well.

My stay at this apartment was great. The only problem I had with the apartment was that the shower curtain liner was disgusting. It looked like it hadn’t been changed in years. I had to go and buy a new one before I could use the shower.

Worst experience I've ever had with renting a condo. Check in time was set for 4:30. Walked in the unit at 4:50 with housekeeping still cleaning. Not able to access the unit till 5 pm with the floors completely soaked from mopping. Mold was witnessed in the master bathroom on the ceiling above shower. Took the management company zia vacation rental 2 days to come clean. Noticed the dryer would not work on the first day and reported it to zia vacation rentals. It took them 2 days to have maintenance even come and look. Maintenance could not fix and had to call an appliance repair that took another 3 days to show up. Appliance repair got there and had to order parts that wouldn't even be there till 2 days after we checked out. Spent the entire week with no dryer. Zia vacation rentals is the worst company I have ever dealt with. Company service is terrible.

NO Buyer’s Beware

Property is as described. Pictures are very accurate. Easy check in, even easier check out. Comfortable beds. Strong air conditioning. My only complaint has nothing to do with the unit, and it’s that the property needs more elevators. Overall, it was exactly what my family of 5 needed for a weekend family reunion stay.

This property looks identical to the pictures. The view was amazing

The views are amazing and is close by popular attractions. It’s a 3 min walk to the beach which is a plus because we love the beach. The only downside is the elevators. The elevator wait take entirely too long. During check out we ended up dragging our luggage down 10 flights of steps after a 30 min wait for the elevator.
