But we went into the centre of Montepulciano (walking distance) and found a few open restaurants. Beautiful centre with a few shops open despite the winter period closures. 'We reserved a room for 3 people and basically got a 2 bedroom unit for a very reasonable price. Beds were comfortable. Unit was clean. Location was great - beautiful view from the balcony over the countryside and was right in the center of the city so easy walking to restaurants and shopping. Parking was a bit of a hassle but I eventually found some. Included breakfast from a cafe on the street that was delightful. '

We enjoyed the location a lot being very close to Pienza and Montelpulciano. Unfortunately the rooms are quite close to the main road and it can get noisy early in the morning.
