'The hotel really lives up to the name and expectations. Lovely lobby with smooth jazz and friendly staff. Big room with a terrific view of the swimming pool with the city skyline in the back. Amenities were great and so was parking. Would 10/10 recommend staying here!'

'I was upgraded by the helpful ladies at reception and offered late checkout given that it was a slower period of the year. There was a problem with the safe in my room and someone came to the rescue within minutes! The friendly bar/restaurant staff enhanced my stay on a frigid December night. The lobby was being renovated so it wasn’t in its usual old school elegant state. Given the hotel’s proximity to restaurants and places of interest, I would definitely recommend the Lord Elgin when visiting...

'Prima hotel voor een nacht. Het bed is aan de kleine kant (ik heb liever een queen size dan een tweepersoonsbed). De badkamer, in 2 gedeeltes, is ruim en schoon. Het ontbijt was ook prima met brood/bagels, muffins, mini-waffels, fruit, gekookte eieren. Ik miste alleen scrambled eggs en bacon, maar dat is omdat ik moeilijk doe ;-).'
