'The staff, service and food were exceptional. The location was perfect for what we wanted out of a four night stay in Kyoto. But, it was the staff that made the experience memorable. Some of the key spots are just around the corner from the hotel. Given the crowds during the day, it was easy to see them early in the morning or after dinner when the crowds were much smaller. 'Bel hôtel, bon rapport qualité prix, bien situé près de lignes de bus desservant le centre de Kyoto et d’un des temples principaux. Hôtel joliment décoré, personnel sympathique et arrangeant. Petit problème d’odeur du probablement aux canalisations ou à l’humidité, et est bruyant côté rue (très passant avec les cars touristiques), mais le personnel prend compte des difficultés. Je recommande ! '

'Nieuw Hotel in Gion. De locatie is perfect voor veel bezienswaardigheden in Kyoto. Om de hoek waan je je in het oude Kyoto. Personeel is super aardig en behulpzaam. Mooie badkamer! Onze kamer had niet echt een uitzicht. De ramen gaan maar op een kier open. Het is wel heel stil. Net een nest waar je naar terugkeert ..heerlijk'

'Staff were very kind. Free breakfast was nice! They also replenished my towels & left them at my door without me even asking, which was nice. My only complaint was that it could’ve been a little bit cleaner. The bed runner on my bed as well as the carpet had multiple visible stains. The walls were also marked up a bit. However, other than that, everything seemed fairly clean. '
