'This was the perfect hotel for me and my teenaged son. We were close to a lot of the sites I wanted to see and a quick bus ride from the heart of Kyoto that he wanted to experience. The hotel itself was charming and spacious. Especially after spending a few days in Tokyo, the room felt massive. Two double beds, a living area with TV, separate WC and separate tub/shower. The staff was enthusiastic and cheerful. I can’t recommend this place highly enough! Superb hotel!'

'We stayed in the bamboo suite and would highly recommend it. We have traveled the world, and this one was of the best rooms we have ever stayed in. We loved the oversized bathtub, comfortable beds and they have wonderful hair/body/face cleaning products. This is the only hotel that I’ve preferred to use their face wash over my own. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was good, in a quiet neighborhood, and about a 10 minute walk to the bus or metro.'
