'Fantastic service from the owners, they made us feel very welcome upon arrival. The beds were super comfortable and that was coupled with a great view. Lots of little details which added character to the room and gave it a homey feel such as small ornaments. The breakfast was lovely, a large selection of cold meats, pastries etc even though it was only us staying. Only a 10 minute drive to Newtown so it has everything you need.'

'Easy to find, 14 minute walk from Chester Station. Shops and plenty of food places to buy food for lunch and dinner and restraunts close by. I spoke with Claire, she was lovely, helpful and made me feel very welcome and at home. I highly recomend Maison Claire. I would definitely stay again. '

'Me and my girlfriend wanted a weekend away close by and chose Ruthin. We saw the Feathers which was very close to the centre. We booked two nights. When we arrived we were warmly greeted and shown our room and the amenities. It was only then I realized I'd booked a room with a shared bathroom. This was no problem, we were very quickly moved to an en-suite. Both rooms, en-suite and standard, were very clean, tidy, modern and comfortable. 'We arrived at 6pm and waited 10 minutes to check in. The room we reserved was unavailable. We drove for 20 minutes on single track to arrived from Shrewsbury. The breakfast was none existent. The room was clean and tidy but the lighting was terrible. I think 6.0 rate is suitable.'

'A real hidden jem in a small village with lots of facilities. Opposite the Castle and duck pond. Not far to lots of tourist hotspots and when you get back plenty of free parking. Its an old building with creaking floorboards but that odds to the charm.'
