« The beds were for children only and not suitable for adults. There was no outside furniture to sit on or to eat. There were no curtains for privacy, no cleaning materials for dishes or spills. No coffee maker or dishes etc. The outside had not seen a lawn mower once this year. This was listed as a vrbo but is actually an arnb as the owner lives above the rental with access to the unit. Very disappointed with this listing.....this was NOT a vacation rental but more like an empty apartment...

« Hello this is I am writing this note because this is very bad experience I am sharing with you. First I book this property with swimming pool with 6 bedrooms but when we reached after we know that pool not open because filters not working after that there is not hot water coming it was very bad experience. We checked in Friday and Saturday there is no hot water in property, after drannage block toilet not working everything back up and poop smell everywhere in house. I do have all proof with...

« This property feels like it is in the middle of complete privacy, yet is close to adequate shopping and dining. If you want alittle more life, it is reasonably close to Halifax and Lunenburg. The home is beautiful and restful. I cannot say enough how much we loved it, even in the pouring rain!! »

« We had a lovely stay with our family of 9. The house was clean and well stocked with everything that we would need. Spacious bedrooms with all the comforts of home. Beautiful property - we tried fishing and the kids enjoyed searching for shells on the shoreline. We also enjoyed the BBQ, fire table and arcade machine. The house is close to a grocery store, restaurants and other amenities. Gary (our host) was welcoming, kind, and helped us with any questions that we had! »

« We had a very enjoyable stay at this beautiful property. The house is a very short drive to a provincial park with a lovely beach. I feel comfortable recommending the property for a quiet, relaxing vacation. Just one note: if you visit during the summer months, be sure to bring mosquito repellent. »

« We had a wonderful stay ! Thanks to the hosts, they were great ! The cottage is even better in real than advertised. There are beautiful beaches near the cottage. Our favorite one is Clam Harbor. Martinique Beach and Taylor Head are also nice. All the beaches were recommended by the hosts. Cottage is only one hour from Halifax. The host recommended to take the ferry from Dartmouth to Halifax. Great cottage near beautiful beaches !
"We had a wonderful stay ! Thanks to the hosts, they were great ! The cottage is even better in real than advertised. There are beautiful beaches near the cottage. Our favorite one is Clam Harbor. Martinique Beach and Taylor Head are also nice. All the beaches were recommended by the hosts. Cottage is only one hour from Halifax. The host recommended to take the ferry from Dartmouth to Halifax. It was easy, cheap and nice to be on the water. It was also a great experience to see eagles from the cottage. To relax in the cottage, internet is great and there is Netflix. The only thing we dislike was the odor of the water from the well and the color orange for the warm water. Other than that it was perfect !"
