Disney Visit

I was disappointed with the lack of communication and accuracy of the listing. I didn’t realize until we arrived at the intended listing that we were actually booked at another location. Granted the new address was provided by the property manager when he confirmed the listing but he never mentioned the reservation was at a different location than described. I simply used the address on the listing to pull up the driving directions and didn’t realize we were booked at an entirely different place until we arrived for check-in and were told our reservation was at another location. I booked based on the location (proximity to Disney) and things to do at the resort (put put golf and other kid friendly activities) but ended up being closer Universal Studios without as many kid friendly activities . Had I known this I would have chosen a more convenient option. The other location we were ultimately booked would have been fine (no other issues) and was comparable other than us wasting time driving to the wrong location and adding more travel time to the parks on our short visit. I expect that that you should get what is described in the listing or at the very least a heads up on the available options at the point the reservation is accepted.

We really enjoyed our stay! The unit was spacious, clean and very comfortable. The resort was great with 3 heated pools, plenty of grills that were very clean and a wonderful staff. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend!

This property was close to Disney, Universal and Sea World. Large selection of good to excellent nearby restaurants and supermarkets. Heated outdoor swimming pool was nice. The suite was small, with a very small master bedroom and master bath.

Weekend at Universal HHN

Pros: The description and photos of property are accurate. Lots and lots of amenities. Location to Disney Springs and Universal is great!!! Lots of great grocery stores and cafes nearby. Space in 2 bdrm/2 bath is great!!! Cons: No call morning of check in but received a call shortly after 9pm on Thursday night (check in was Friday) from a unknown gentleman asking me if I would be interested in doing a 90 min timeshare presentation in return for disney or universal tickets. We declined. Then asked if we wanted discounted tickets to parks and we declined. He asked how many were in our party I said just 2- my husband and I he said ok and call ended. He then texted me address of property and reservation # (different then homaways) Check in was a nightmare!! Apparently my maiden name was on my homeaway account when I booked the reservation and front desk refused check us in. I showed a old bank card and costco card that had my pic and maiden name on it. Still nothing. Attempted to call/msg owner with no responses. Called homeaway for help with resevation or refund they did nothing to help because it was the day we were checking in. They offered to call owner which I had done to only hear subscriber was out of the area or # had been disconnected. So we sat on bench outside of registrstion ready to eat our payment and go find a hotel when i decided to text "unknown man" who called me Thurs night to ask him if he could update my name on reservation to my married name. He was able to do so and after 1hr 20 min we were able to check into the room. Upon check out on Sunday front desk still had my name wrong. I was asked "printed or email receipt" i replied print...lady had me write down my email. Never got receipt. Lesson learned - make sure your info is up to date on app and you get better confirmation on all names in your reservation. Not sure we would return to property.

Afordable- close to Disney - convenient!

This is not the first time I've stayed at this property -it's a great value - your family can get some space and privacy at the end of a long day. There's a full size kitchen, and dining area to grab meals "at home" which is less expensive and healthier. Wawa is walking distance for great subs and salads. Pools are well kept- there are activities for the kids - families grilled out at night- there's excellent security. Mattresses recently replaced- not only were our beds comfortable- but there was a dumpster full of old mattresses so you know it's not a lie...I've stayed on Disney property many a time, but now that my children are older, and I sometimes travel with my dad, the extra space is much appreciated
