Relaxing

My husband and I felt as we needed a little time away from work, our town and some medical issues we had gone through. Short notice for Lisa, only 2 weeks and what accommodations she made for this to happen for us! She went above and beyond.. the house is as described, lovely and relaxing home! The pool area is absolutely perfect! The theater room is fantastic as well! Pool table is great inside home. Great designing of this home! Had a few minor (T.V. ) problem however they were there to fix the problem. No worries there are plenty more TV's to watch!Hands down 5 stars! All was great, we'd book again!!! Thanks to Lisa and all staff thatfor us.

Universal Trip

Such a shame

The villa had everything we needed, could not fault it for that. But it was such a shame everything was so old and worn and marked. My first impressions my heart dropped, I felt gutted as I chose the villa for my family and felt I had let them down. I took photos of everything as I didn’t want to be blamed for things not being right. Lots of items look like they would fall to pieces. The bed we had in our bedroom was ready for the junk yard. I took photos underneath the bed as the mattress is almost touching the floor on both sides of the bed underneath, while on top there is a hill in the middle. Everything seems to be worn out. Settees pulled everwhere, drains stinking, marks everywhere on the walls. Sunbeds sinking in. No tea towels, no cooking trays for oven use. We’ve stayed in villas 7 times now and none have been shabby before. The photos on the site are different to what you get. The stools are different to the ones shown on the photos and these are worn through so that tells me the photos are years old if the new ones are worn out. The swimming pool has a huge chunk on the bottom missing so you cut your feet. They have a Matt to cover this but it floats away. Paid for pool heat but we was dithering and asked to turn it up but I don’t think it was on for the first week. The blind in our shower room had a pole missing to close it so anyone out side near the pool could see us when we used our the shower or toilet. The owners need to revamp for sure as it could be so much better. I feel sorry for giving such negativity but I think these things need addressing for the next guests

Nice vacation home but room for improvement

My family and I have been renting properties in the Davenport area of FL for about 10 years. Although this was not the worst place we've stayed, it's not the best either. This house has everything you need to make for a pleasant vacation. It's stocked with dishes and silverware but could use a little bit more in terms of baking pans and such. The dishwasher leaked when it was washing dishes. A repair man was sent but it didn't fix the problem. Since the leak wasn't awful, we just put a towel under it while it ran. No biggy. The pool was supposed to be heated when we arrived but wasn't. I called 4 times before someone came out and checked. I was just continually told that it "was turned on on Friday". Well by Tuesday, it still wasn't heated. We went 4 days of our vacation with a freezing pool that no one could use. Finally, on Tuesday afternoon the manager came by and turned it on. The pool was perfect Wednesday through Friday (we left on Saturday) the hot tub was never cleaned while we were there. The last few days we wouldn't even get into it, it looked that bad. Although the beds weren't terribly comfortable, they were fine for the week we were there. For the most part our vacation was very pleasant. Just a few things that weren't "up to par". The location is great - just be prepared for ridiculous traffic!! It was so bad that we hardly left the house! We were there during Presidents break so it's understandable but still tough to deal with. All in all, this house is great for what they charge and we had a great week away from the snow!

The house was a great layout and perfect for a large family...it lacked a lot of basics, especially in the kitchen and we ended up having to go out and buy basic things like dish towels, mixing bowl etc. All in all it's a great house, just needed a little more TLC. We were told there would be a welcome basket with essentials- there was nothing... We own rental houses in the Bahamas and just know that we try to have the basic necessities for our guests, which this house lacked greatly.

First Disney experience

We had a great time at this property. The pool was the highlight for sure!! My 6 year old twins and infant and mother in law were all so pleased with the heated pool temperature 🌡️. The house is perfect for families and friends. Great location, close to target and Walgreens and the freeway to get to Disney. The pool was more exciting than Disney for our kids 🙄 the only downfall was that we bought a bunch of frozen food for the stay and when we went to cook dinner the oven didn't work. The property manager was VERY easy to get a hold of, and although the oven needed a new part they provided us with an air fryer AND propane BBQ 👍👍 so we were more than satisfied with the fix. Would definitely stay here again!

Tuscan Ridge was a great place for us to be self-isolated in during the week of our spring break.

We enjoyed our stay and we had plenty of things to do to keep us occupied during the COVID-19 situation. Everything was clean and well-maintained and we were able to just bring our things and enjoy our family time together.

Nice and relaxing. Lovely neighborhood.

The home is clean and in a nice safe area. The beds are comfy and the kitchen is stocked with plenty of cookware. We had the pool heated for our stay and were grateful as it was a cooler than usual week. The only thing we could have used were nightlights for our kids. We usually bring our own and don't need them. This time we didn't and there wasn't one in any of the bathrooms or the kiddo bedroom. Luckily, there is a local Walmart, Dollar Tree, etc that resolves any issues your family may specifically have. Thank you for opening your home to our family. We had a lovely time and hope to stay again in the future!

Fantastic stay!

We had a wonderful time staying at this property. We stayed for the week over Christmas and when we arrived we were so pleased to see they had set up a Christmas tree for us. It was very clean with lots of living space and beds were comfortable. Great location for us as we visited Disney World, Sea World and Discovery Cove. Games room was great for the kids as well as the pool. And the hot tub was so nice after the long days walking around. Checking in was such a convenient experience as well. The property management responded so quickly with any questions and came out immediately to change a light bulb that had burned out in the patio area. We hope to stay here again soon! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Needs some TLC and better management

This is the first time I have not left a 5 star review for a rental but this property had way too many issues to do that. Our first issue was that we were not able to get into the property on time. We arrived early at 3:00 & stopped by the house to make sure we could find it. The housekeeper was just arriving but assured me she would be done by 4. No big deal, we knew we were early so went to get groceries. Came back at 4 & she still had many things left to do. At 4:30 she was still cleaning & we had food getting warm/melting so we told her we needed to get our food inside. When she finally left at 4:45, there was laundry still in the dryer & it was obvious the master bedroom comforter was not washed because it was disgusting with white stains all over it. The house was very warm so we called property mgr & were told the AC cannot be turned lower than 74. This is absurd. We are from IN where its much colder & our house is at 70. They obviously know its too warm in there b/c there are floor fans in every room, except the master bedroom one doesn't work. We also had to ask them how to work the tv bc there are no instructions. You would never be able to figure it out on your own & they stated they were aware of that. On the 2nd day, we had to call them again b/c there were ants all over the master bath. I also found other bugs in the master tub. The master bedroom mattress is awful, my husband ended up sleeping on the couch and I in a twin bed by mid-week bc the mattress is completely shot. The tub in the hall bath did not drain & took hours to drain every time the kids showered. The toilet room in the master had an "outhouse" smell. The carpet tacks are coming up b/t the living and sitting room so each time you cross the threshold you get stabbed in the foot. The lawn was the only one on the street not mowed. The instructions we received via email did not match anything posted in the house (trash days, WIFI passwords, instructions, etc) which was confusing. They followed up after our vacation & I told them all the issues with the house. I was told they would send us a voucher for a discount on another rental. Not surprisingly, I still haven't seen it. Finally, we left a blow dryer which I've emailed 3x about bc the checkout instructions state that they will retrieve left items if possible. It's now been almost 6 weeks so I'm assuming they won't be retrieving that for us. Also, the damage waiver is actually just another fee, it is not refundable.

Loved the house, already booked for next year, i have stayed in this location for several years now. the house was clean well taken care of, pool was nice and warm, along with the stand alone hot tub. would recommend highly.

OMG!

Three families came together for 10 days. After deliberation on available houses to take we chose this one. We were not disappointed. Each set of parents/adults had their own bedroom (two of us had en-suites) and then the 4 boys enjoyed the game room with the bunk beds. One of the bedrooms we used as a free space if the boys required it. We enjoyed being able to cook in the kitchen. The pool area with hot tub was a hit and the house had two sitting areas so that some of us could wander off separately if we chose too. We had opportunity to contact the property management and both Lisa and Martha were fabulous to deal with and immediately responded. The neighborhood/community was beautiful. The house was conveniently located and within 5-10 minutes of any amenity that you would require while not having to deal with Orlando bumper to bumper traffic if you didn’t want to! Although two of the families spent a lot of time at the attractions of Orlando....when we discussed ...one of the regrets was not just staying at the home and enjoying it to the fullest. I would totally recommend this home to anyone coming to the area.

Woderful place for a relaxing vacation.

The house was as advertised. It was clean and the pool heat and hot tub worked well. We appreciated the welcome basket as it allowed us some time to setlle in before shopping. The location was great and very accessible to all the attractions, shopping and restaurants. We stayed for two weeks and when some small issues arose the property manager helped to resolve quickly.

Very Nice

The house was very clean and nicely staged. It was exactly what we expected it to be. The only negative I would have is that the beds are not the most comfortable.
