'Perfect getaway while we spent time at Redwood National Forest. Being near Sue-Meg State park was an added bonus as we enjoyed hiking along the coastline. The cottage was clean and cozy. You cannot beat the location or view - the property is beautiful; the hosts reached out prior to our stay to communicate an issue with the propane - would mean no hot water / no cooking the first night. They offered to put us up at another property, but given the heat/ac still worked as did the microwave - we opted to stay. Could not ask for better hosts or hospitality. 'If you want to visit the redwoods, this location can't be beat! Just minutes to various trails and visitors center. Be aware there's not much food-wise in Orick, so come prepared with groceries or be willing to drive a bit for restaurants. The house was clean, and I really appreciated the ability to do laundry and how well stocked the house was. The listing does need to be updated - I believe when I booked it had listed a hot tub and two tvs for example, there was no hot tub and only one tv. Not...
