'Best on the coast'

'Nice to be out on the pier and watch boats and ships go by. The hotel's free vintage car rides to restaurants in town was much fun. Old photos of the area on the walls was enjoyable along with a video of the building of the hotel shown on the tv in our room. Too expensive. Hot tub was not working. Natural gas was turned off to repair a leak near the hotel. Not the hotel's fault.'

'The Welcome reception from the staff and the sea lions was a 10. Lovely sitting area outside the lobby/restaurant to watch the river flow by and listen to the sounds of happy, sleepy sea lions. Excellent location on the river walk past key sites leading to the Maritime Museum. Rooms are spacious and amenities very nice keeping with the historic cannery vibe.'

'My family and I had been visiting this hotel for years 2-3x per year while it was still the Crest Hotel because of the superb location and reasonable rates. The rates are no longer reasonable, there is no longer a delicious complimentary breakfast in the lobby, the coffee was terrible and the Jets in the hot tub weren’t working. Pros; the view is still superb and the staff was really wonderful. Like so many other places on the Oregon and Washington coast, locals can no longer afford to stay and...

'We had a wonderful stay at **Stillwater Hideaway**! The hosts were incredibly kind, communicative, and helpful throughout our entire stay. They were quick to respond to any questions or concerns we had and went above and beyond to help us with anything that came up.The house was very clean, comfortable, and welcoming, and the beds were especially comfy! 'Great little spot for just a couple or the kids too! Cool guesthouse with a King, an extra bedroom with bunks and two more singles up in a loft over the main room. Loved our stay there and would certainly return again! Beautiful kitchen, nice walk in shower bath, cool electric fireplace and a deck overlooking the lake.'
