'The cabin was perfect for an overnight stay. It was so secluded and the woods were beautiful. We were able to walk to the winery/brewery down the road and spent a lovely night by the fire. We were comfortable sleeping in the cabin with the windows open. The farm was very cool although the llama (alpaca?) didn't seem to like me :) The owner was amazing and went above and beyond when we left something behind. Would definitely recommend as a unique overnight stay. '

'Peaceful, relaxing, and near to everything. Will definitely be back. We definitely have the privacy we need and still being near everywhere we need to be. The drive is 30 mins to Shenandoa, 1 hr to Luray Cavern and 30 mins to Monticello. We went to winery around as well. Resort is very responsive. Our car is awd and has its own navigation so it worked out fine for us. No cellular service but wifi is great. '

'First time here, staying in the lodge in a themed room with a fantastic view and wonderful sunrise. Food was excellent in the restaurant. The surprise came when we found out that a large fireworks display was being held at the lodge! We did not have to go anywhere for anything! One little complaint: we heard the people above us. Other than that, great experience!'

'We had only booked for one night to go to family reunion. We will definitely consider returning. The space was very warm and welcoming. It is a great place if you have children (no matter what age) traveling with you. There are games and activities for all ages. There wasn't a kitchen so to speak but had all essential for breakfast and lunch, and a microwave to rehear a dinner. '

'We held a family get together for Thanksgiving here. We stayed for 2 days and the experience was great. The house was beautiful and clean with great amenities. We had a minor issue with the wifi but the host took care of it to our satisfaction.'

'This is everything you want in a VRBO! Extremely clean, warm and welcoming hosts, easy check in, cozy king size bed and the view while luxuriating in the hot tub is unbeatable! The location is 10 minutes from the Old Rag trailhead and about 20 into Sperryville. There’s a country store within walking distance. WiFi available, two big flat screens with streaming services and a well stocked kitchen. As an added bonus a group of friendly cows from the neighboring farm came right up to the fence line...

'This place was so lovely and peaceful. It really is tucked away and has a cute little balcony. Lots of hiking nearby in Shenandoah. Would definitely stay here again. My only negative is the door to this room has a huge gap at the bottom and nothing around the outside giving any sort of sound buffer. So you can hear everything. Other than that, it was wonderful. '
