« The amenities and rooms are very primitive, you have to go in knowing that. My girlfriend and I went in thinking that we weren’t going to have any electricity and that fresh water was scarce, neither of which were true. The shared showers/bathrooms were dirty, but only because they are being used constantly by the day-trippers to the island (the bathrooms were cleaned nightly though). « Don’t go expecting a resort and you will thoroughly enjoy yourself. The Guna that run the island are all warm, friendly, helpful. Great snorkelling tours and beautiful clean water. The accommodations are very simple but comfortable. Shared bathroom that was kept very clean. A great place to get away from it all. The ride through the mountain was very potholy and winding so if you get carsick definitely come prepared. »

« The owners, Rick and Loan, could not be nicer. They had advice for us on what to see and do during our time in Panama which proved very helpful. The staff, particularly Juan, David and Ricardo, were excellent - attentive and friendly. We rented a car from the airport in Panama City and drove ourselves to other side of the country.
