'This inn with cabins is a gorgeous setting with a nice vegetable garden, the setting is a bit remote and we like it, very quiet, unfortunately the restaurant was close.'

'My trip had a rocky start when I arrived. The management quickly remedied the issues that I encountered to make my trip enjoyable. The staff was very on point with the customer service recovery. I was moved to a great room with one of the most incredible view of the Hudson. They accommodate my spa treatment even during their renovation. I can’t wait to return back for another amazing experience. A minor issue was phone service was poor, but I was able to do WiFi calling.'

'This was the perfect place to stay! We had easy access to parking on the street. The owner communicated with us about keyless entry into the building and our room. The building and our room were decorated with a classy style. We wish we had stayed longer.'

'The location of the property was excellent! The room we had was clean. Two things that were not good- there is no real kitchen area,(or area to gather outside of our room) it is in a small hallway by the back door and does not have a freezer or ice available. Our air conditioner did not work properly and woke us up throughout the night.'

'We had a comfy stay at the Nautical Nest. Check-in was super easy. The room was clean and spacious. The AC unit helped keep the room cool on a hot day but turned off and on during the night which is a helpful energy saver but not great for sleep. Would stay here again.'

But you’re looking for a nice simple place to use as your homebase while you’re visiting Hudson this is an excellent choice.'

'I'm house-hunting in Hudson, so my wife and I have stayed in a few other hotels and B&Bs there. However, one night in Pocketbook and I'll definitely continue booking there. I don't understand the complaints about the noise or rude staff, becauee we experienced the exact opposite. The staff were warm & welcoming, and very friendly. Overnight, it was peaceful and quiet. 'Terrible… building is very rundown. Checking in is at 4pm which is too late the rooms where not ready had to wait about 30 minutes before the room was ready for me Staff not welcoming at all Room was clean! I don’t recommend this hotel'
