'Faulty air conditioning, shoddy room. Moved to another hotel after 2 days'

'This was my second time at County Lodge hotel, my first time was back in April 2021. I noticed major upgrades in the room from five years ago. The room itself was nice and modern, with good lighting. And the view of the city is amazing, with a large swimming pool and areas to relax outdoor. I had one issue with the AC not cooling and was given a different room. The refrigerators in both rooms were not working, and were old looking. And it would be nice if there was a chain lock inside the room...

'The room was clean and spacious and quiet. And it's sea view was fantastic. The staffs are friendly and courteous and ready to help. I and my wife were greatly satisfied with this apartment style hotel during 4days stay. We will use this place again when we visit Freetown.'

'Positive: stable WIFI, a decent breakfast and the friendly staff at the reception. Negative: absolutely worn out furniture and poorly maintained rooms, not very clean (there was a mouse in my room), very noisy.'

'The room space is spacious and spotless. Smell fresh and welcoming. My only concern is that management leave shampoo and body lotion in the bathroom. '

'The rooms are really clean the sheets have a few stains but you can tell it’s from the dryer staff are nice only issue is reception closes at midnight and if you don’t stock up on water for the night before they leave you will have to wait until morning, or risk going outside at night to find it.'

But please I suggest u look at your breakfast menu. Breakfasts didn’t taste like breakfast for me. Breakfasts was boring. Food don’t look or presentable enough for me to be excited about to eat. Just so you know am talking about the breakfasts in the apartment, room service. '

'I had a great stay! Staff were attentive and friendly and the WiFi was strong! The view and pool are to die for. Only thing I did not love was the restaurant, I found the portions to be small for the price. I also wasn’t too impressed with the menu in general. But I loved the wait staff, they were really sharp and good for short banter. If they are more generous with the food and improve on the offerings and flavor this would be a 10/10. But I’ll give it a solid 8.7 and I will definitely come...
