'I had a nice stay at Barclay Cottage Inn overall. The property was clean, reasonably priced, and conveniently located near the beach. The service was also good, and I had a pleasant experience with the staff. My biggest disappointment was the breakfast. I realize the property describes it as a continental breakfast, so I may have had different expectations based on some of the breakfast photos I saw online. 'Hotel staff were very friendly, rooms were clean and well stocked. Full breakfast buffet'

'Was upgraded to the best suite and the staff catered to us repeatedly. They were so friendly and'

'Beautiful property, We always enjoy staying there while in VB'

'Overall experience was great. It took a very long time to check in even with placing prior arrangements. Prices for water, snacks was outrageous! Went to the lounge there at the resort and paid 43.00 for 2 adult beverages, that is just rediculous. Putting a hold of 150.00 per night on a credit card for "incidentals" wow!! I understand its a resort but it was halloween not the 4th of july.'

'The view was as it said, beach facing, however had some problems with the room itself. 1st the bathroom didnt work properly. Using the restroom upon arrival it was clogged and and took forever to refill. The shower when turned on rattled very loudly. The room had a microwave that didnt work and there was a odd smell. Could use an upgrade.'

'Our hotel room was perfect, and we loved hearing the oceans waves.'

'Great ocean front location! Staff were very friendly and helpful. Large breakfast buffet included was a bonus. They should include parking in the nightly rate though instead of charging $20 extra per night.'

'I really appreciate it'

'Price quality of location and condition'

'The location is convenient. I was in a room with a view of the beach and a balcony. The rooms however are older and could definitely use some remodeling. I only stayed one night but can’t say I would be back if I had to stay longer. The staff was friendly.'

Other than that the beach was very close and walking distance it was pretty nice! The hotel itself was...

'Het uitzicht is schitterend, recht aan het strand. Prima ontbijt om je dag mee te starten. Hier zou ik zeker terug naar toe gaan. '
