'A quiet oasis only a few minutes walk away from the bamboo forest and bustling streets of Aryshima. The rooms were beautifully decorated and the public baths had a sauna, steam room and cold plunge pool in addition to an outdoor and indoor bath. The private baths were also each unique and the free ice cream and yakult afterwards was the perfect way to cap off a soaking session.'

'Beautiful property and great location'

'Beetje verouderde kamers maar wel heel proper.'

'Great place. It was even better than we expected!'

'I loved how authentic the experience felt and looked, curated by such amazing and sweet souls. '

'My husband and I stayed at this accommodation for 4 nights and had such a pleasant experience. The entire apartment was clean and comfortable, and we loved having access to a kitchen, tub and washing machine after staying in smaller hotels over the course of our trip in Japan. The neighbourhood was very calm and peaceful, yet still walking distance to convenience stores and some amazing restaurants. We didn’t have enough time to use the bikes but were very happy to have had them as an option for...

'Expensive breakfast and not worth the price- only negative. Hotel is within a cab ride of all attractions or a 20 minute walk. Staff are very friendly and hotel is clean and rooms are beautiful.'

'The Front desk and Concierge were amazing and set me up for an amazing Japan Adventure'

'This small hotel is really cute. The rooms are clean, equipped and super nice! The staff was really helpful and polite. They have breakfast and they have 2 light meals during the day which were good and perfect for what they are. Really happy with the property and the experience. I loved the bathtub with view on the interior garden.'

'Lovely place to stay in an area of Kyoto that’s close to a few large, beautiful shrines. Really great room complemented by a wonderful, helpful staff. Would love to stay here again!'

'We absolutely loved this hotel! Fantastic location that was out of the busyness of the main districts but in close walking proximity to convenience stores, restaurants, places for coffee and breakfast, and of course the castle and the imperial palace grounds. Great rooms - such a fantastic size for Japan, which was great for our crawling ten month old who wanted to crawl and pull himself up on everything. Staff were lovely and accommodating. We will definitely stay here again.'

'Heerlijk verblijf gehad in het hotel. Mooie kamer, goed ontbijt.

'We left medicine in the room and they sent it to the next hotel on our stay with complimentary shipping !! That shows the level of service , in one word amazing..'

Aanrader! '
