'This was our favorite stay in New Zealand. Comfortable house in the cute town of Twizel with lots of dining options, two grocery stores, amazing stars, and convenient to Mt Cook. The house is in a neighborhood so a bit tricky to find at night, but very comfortable with a well-equipped kitchen and a good set up for a family. My only suggestions would be to add lamps (why do New Zealanders hate bedside lamps??) and maybe a few DVDs (after a long day of hiking, would have been nice to watch a...

'Due to Lindas pass closed we came up the coastal road great trip up. weather was fine but cold -2 most nights. done our fishing, site seeing as usual had a good break away the house is just like a small home away from home for us and have stayed many times.'

'The Black Box was a perfect stopping point on our tour of the South Island. Clean, comfortable, and conveniently located, it was a perfect two day stop for us to visit the Mount Cook glacier, enjoy the Twizel area, and just relax. The home was exactly as you see it online. Great place. '
