Great Spot!

We stopped here as a midway point on a road trip and it was a great place to stay for a night in Ocean Grove. Conveniently located near the beach and not far from Asbury Park. Would definitely recommend!

Excellent spot for ea day trip to the clty

Everything went better then expected. Keyless entry worked well and the location is excellent. I would recommend this apt to anyone looking for a quick get away.

Easy, clean, convenient

We stayed here to attend a concert at the Stone Pony, and just needed an easy and comfortable place to sleep. This was great! The checkin and entry process is easy, and the room was bright, quiet, and clean. Amazing location with easy walking access to Asbury Park.

Perfect Getaway

This was our 2nd time staying at The Melrose and we’ll be back again. The location is perfect for enjoying Ocean Grove, Asbury, and of course the beach. The property manager is very responsive to any questions or needs and the property is very well kept.

Loved it!

Excellent location - never used the car. Very close to the beach and restaurants. The room was NYC small but very clean and comfortable. Everything as described.

We were in Ocean Grove for an overnight. We saw a band perform in Asbury Park, and this was a great spot, close to the foot bridge and the boardwalk. Super clean, very intimate!

Success!!

My husband and I stayed a few days and we were impressed on many levels. The place was charming, cozy and clean. We enjoyed the perfect location with views of the lake and ocean. Less than 2 blocks from the ocean and boardwalk. The neighborhood was quiet, yet we were a short walk to the lively Asbury Boardwalk. We loved sitting out on the porch to take in the views. The refrigerator in the room was a nice, useful touch for beach goers. We will be back!

Bathroom should’ve had some vanity space or some shelves on the wall to put your toiletry items. Had to store all this in the little bedroom and keep taking in what you need each time.

A bit small

It was a cute house, but not what we thought at all. No coffeemaker, (thankfully I always travel with my own)very tight quarters, very hard to navigate all the stairs after having knee surgery, very loud creaky floors made it hard to be non distracting for others. A bit far from the ocean for my liking, and looked much closer online. Was very easy to communicate with managers and were very responsive. We left early to get home. Very clean and comfortable bedding. But I guess we are hotel type people that get more from convenience with all the amenities.

When we first arrived, the staff was kind enough to let us check in early. The room itself was a bit small where we kept hitting the corner of the bed, but otherwise clean. Also, I would say if you're a daily napper, room 3A might not be ideal as it has lots of windows, and the shades don't completely block out the light. We did appreciate how close we were to everything, including the beach and restaurants. Overall, the stay was good.

Just what you need.

My husband and I got away for a couple of days and the property was perfect for that. The room was clean and they provided coffee and a microwave plus there was a fridge in the room. We had a nice two night get-a-way. The location is perfect for the beach, downtown Asbury Park or the boardwalk. Everything with within a 10 minute walk.

This was a cute place near Asbury Park, less than 10 minute walk. The listing was a little misleading as you only get a bedroom and bathroom as your private space. The living room and balcony are common spaces. We didn't see very many people so it really wasn't an issue.

Bliss at the Beach

This property is in a great location. Only a couple blocks from the sunny beach / boardwalk as well as adjacent to a shady park overlooking a lake. It also is ideally situated directly in between 2 different neighborhoods (Ocean Grove or Asbury Park) for shops / restaurants within walking distance. As for the space itself, the room was well maintained and tastefully decorated. Provided for a quiet refresh after day at the beach (A/C works great) and night out for dinner (bed is comfortable). Would definitely stay here again.
