'Very clean and cozy. There were plenty of activities both inside and out to keep us occupied.Kitchen was stocked with everything we could need to cook whatever we brought with us. Spices, coffees and teas were readily available. Children really enjoyed the kayaks, puzzles, loft and bunkhouse.'

'Our family traveled to the area for a last minute swim meet. Having not made plans to be traveling, we were unsure of what options we'd have - but the cabin was perfect for a last minute overnight stay. We all slept well, and were able to enjoy the cabin for the brief time we were there. Significantly more space, and much more affordable, than hotel options in the area the same night. A great find and fit for us! '

'This was such a fun experience. My husband and I had a road trip up the east coast. We aren't big campers and this was a great way to get a bit more of a rustic experience without a tent. But yes, you take a canoe to the island. It takes 5 minutes. No electricity, so be prepared for a camp stove and electric lanterns. Loons added a lovely evening sound track. Google map directions worked fine. Mexican restaurant was good. Took a day trip to Camden to hike and have lunch which was lovely. So fun...

The house itself was cozy and comfortable, with all the amenities we needed for a relaxing vacation. The views of the lake from the deck were stunning, and we spent hours just sitting there, watching the sunset. The kids loved all the outdoor activities, and my wife and I enjoyed some much-needed R&R. We can't wait to come back and experience it...

'The 4 of us stayed here together for a weekend reunion. Very comfortable and well equipped and clean. Lots of towels. Great porch and beach. Only wish we had WIFI.'

'Check-in, check-out, all communication with the owner was A. Great place for some quiet peaceful camping/glamping. Plenty to do, swim, kayak, fish, hike around the island, or just relax…it’s very peaceful and quiet. Kitchen facilities are great. Mind you its a camping kitchen, but grill, propane, utensils, plates, pots pans, everything you would need is provided…except for the food. Cabin was comfortable and clean, plenty of room. 'I had an enjoyable stay at this nicely appointed lakeside cabin. As a fisherman it was great to have my boat on the dock just steps way from the porch door. The cabin was immaculate with updated kitchen appliances. I particularly enjoyed evenings around the fire pit watching the boats maneuvering around the marina.'
