Overall, I had a good stay at Oaktown Roost. I felt safe on the property, everything was clean, and staff was friendly.
These are not necessarily “cons“ just things to consider: I paid for their on-site parking, which is across the street, but it is a manual lock only, no keypad or electronic elements. This is a little inconvenient because unless the staff is around to help you out, you have to get in and out of your car to manually undo the lock and open the gate. When I returned back to the property late from an event, I was going to I had to open and close the gate myself, which was a little nerve-racking as a solo traveler. The lock is one of those twist style locks, and the mechanism on the gate could be hard to close. If you were somebody with less dexterity or mobility, it could potentially be an issue if returning or arriving outside of operating hours.
