'The hotel and room were very clean and quiet. The staff were very nice and helpful. The breakfast was good. This is our second time staying there and when we’re in the area we will stay again. Highly recommend.'

'It’s an older hotel, I’m sure soon to be renovated. Bathroom fixtures, sinks, shower/tub are dated but all very clean. Staff was super helpful and it’s of course right on the beach with 2 pools so the location is perfect. The VALUE is terrific.'

'Great historic hotel right on the river bank. The room was nice with a good size bathroom. The bed was a bit soft for our taste, but otherwise comfortable. There is not really a lot of shelve space, so if you're not travelling light, you might struggle to unpack. Every room has a nice terras. The pool is clean, but unheated. Breakfast is at The Mermaid Cafe, 2 door down from the hotel, and it can get very busy there later in the morning. Come early if you want a guaranteed table. Coffee and tea...

'Very clean and convenient to downtown'

'Clean property. Room was spacious and extremely clean. Quiet property. Tommy and his wife were amazing hosts. Restaurants and shops within walking distance or a 3 min. drive. Beach is 5 minutes by car. Property is pet friendly.'

'Goed hotel om te overnachten bij vliegveld Sanford/ Orlando'

'Easy to find, good stay for travellers, restaurants and taget at walking distance. Breakfast is not available, rooms are good, will not be made during stay'

'I stayed here one night with my kids on our way to Key West. We got in so late and were so tired from driving. This hotel was right off the interstate and was absolutely the perfect “oasis”. I’ll be coming back on my way south on future trips.'

'Due to the rain, I could not use the amenities. However, the staff was very nice, the room was clean, and today they had a yoga class on the beach. The building is old, but it looked like they were doing some construction. I enjoyed my stay and I would love to visit again.'

'We really enjoyed our stay at The Salty Mermaid! The location was great, especially being so close to the beach. The room was comfortable and clean, and the property had a nice, relaxed beach atmosphere. The staff was friendly and helpful, and parking was convenient. We also loved being able to walk around and enjoy everything New Smyrna Beach has to offer. Overall, it was a very enjoyable getaway, and we would definitely consider staying here again!'

'Tout est super!'
