Platanias is een goede uitvalsbasis om West Kreta te ontdekken en Chania. Platanias zelf is niet zo interessant, maar heeft voldoende gelegenheden om goed te eten zodat je nooit zelf hoeft te koken'

We loved having direct access to the beautiful beach right from the property. The garden is meticulously maintained and absolutely gorgeous, offering a serene escape. 'Zeer behulpzame medewerkers en prima service. Wij waren er in het voorseizoen (eind april) en toen was het (overal) heerlijk rustig. Direct naast het appartement verschillende restaurants die elk op hun eigen manier prima zijn.
Verschillende supermarkten en strand op max. 5 minuten lopen.'
'The place was great. The people at the front desk, bell staff and housekeeping were the best and most helpful. Our stay was near the end of the season so the restaurant was understaffed and a little slow. On the other hand there are so many great places to eat within short walking distance it didn't really matter. Highly recommended. Next time I will split time between here and old Chania.'
