Platanias is een goede uitvalsbasis om West Kreta te ontdekken en Chania. Platanias zelf is niet zo interessant, maar heeft voldoende gelegenheden om goed te eten zodat je nooit zelf hoeft te koken'

Our stay was near the end of the season so the restaurant was understaffed and a little slow. On the other hand there are so many great places to eat within short walking distance it didn't really matter. Highly recommended. Next time I will split time between here and old Chania.'
