'Just an overnight. Really nice quiet place with helpful owner. Huge room and all in excellent condition. 8 min walk to the pub for dinner and the steam railway called Redwater Creek is only a little further away (check running days). Worth coming back.'

'This was a historic stay. We loved the tiny details and felt like we had stepped back in time to a Jane Austen novel. Highly recommend for people who love old mansions. I taught my daughters about encyclopaedias - the google of yore - and we also loved watching the spirit of Tasmania berth. '

'Relaxte sfeer, beneden een soort eetcafe, met goed eten, muziek , en verschillende soorten bier van de tap. Goed om nog even te werken in een ontspannen sfeer. De kamer was resent nog opgeknapt en was erg goed. Minpunt is het eenvoudige ontbijt wat de avond ervoor bezorgt wordt. De gelegenheid is er om hiervoor iets meer te regelen in de eetgelegenheid. Wie van speelautomaten houd kan hier vooruit. Receptie is wat klungelig en onprofessioneel, maar ze doen goed de best.'

'We had 2 adults and a 12 year old in the smallest room and it was a bit tight with 3 suitcases .The room was ok nothing special but it was clean and did the job .'

'The room was ok. Good size but the bathroom was poorly designed and it was difficult to move around in their all. The staff at the check in was rude and pushing for answers about whether we would be eating at the restaurant and we had just arrived in the town. We had no real chance to consider that question.'

'I loved staying here, it was perfect for me. I jad a single room with shared bathroom but I never had to wait for a bathroom. There was no rv in my room butbthey have a large guest lounge with sofas, a tv and even a kitchenette with fridge and microwave. There is a bar and a restaurant downstairs which did not cause any noise but certainly was handy for dinner!'

'Deze plek is geschikt als je een paar dagen op een rustige plek wilt verblijven. En.vooral voor gezinnen. Er is niet veel in de buurt. Voor diner moet je naar sheffield rijden. '

'It was a lovely little cottage with all the items needed for a comfortable stay. Unfortunately we were there during incremental weather and there was a power outage in town for a few minutes and n the first night. You’d need to be prepared for this as Strahan does experience power outages during bad storms and strong winds. That said, it is a lovely town with amazing people. Shops tend to close early too but they have well stocked IGA in town.'
