Motels in Northwest High Country

'This was by far the worst hotel experience I have ever had, and I would strongly advise anyone to avoid this property. I booked accommodation for 6 people through Expedia, but upon arrival the hotel manager refused to honor the booking as confirmed. Instead, we were told we had to book and pay for an additional room if we wanted to accommodate everyone. After a long and exhausting journey, we had no realistic choice but to pay for another room because finding another hotel late at night was not...

'OK for one night. Large room and close to the Chikamauga battlefield. Good also for visiting Lookout Mountain. Hotel is a bit older,but room was clean. Breakfast was rather poor.'

'Staff was helpful but property could have been better maintained. Had to change rooms due to non-working TV. Very limited breakfast items.'

'Bed linens were stained, towels were completely yellow with hair on them, walls and door frames covered in greasy black hand prints and grime. Two small bars of soap that were given 1) didn’t lather and 2) didn’t even last a full shower before disintegrating. There was a man sitting in the back of his box truck with the back door rolled up right outside our door for hours. 'The pictures look nothing like the actual room. Our door had a hole that was partially covered. My guess is the cops busted that door down at some time. Reserved a King room. They didn’t have one. So we took the Queen. The bathtub was dirty. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.'

'Staff is exceptional. This is our 3rd stay because they have treated us so well. We were in Rome area back and forth looking at houses to buy. So glad we found this great location to make it so convenient. We will be back and refer to family and friends when they come to visit. Clean, convenient location, safe, cozy, exceptional price. Thank you guys for a great stay. We truly appreciate it.'

'The property is in a very good location near shops and restaurants; the parking is easy and in front of the rooms. The staff was helpful and friendly. The room was clean and quiet but small, although there was room for a fridge. We will stay there in the future.'
