Vind je ideale hotel in Northern New Mexico

'Het was niet alleen een overnachting het was een belevenis. De geschiedenis is indrukwekkend. Ook de geheime kamer was geweldig. En de lift was alsof je terug in de tijd ging en in een oude filmset was.'

'De kamer was schoon en ruim. Het personeel was bijzonder vriendelijk en behulpzaam. De parkeerplaats was zeer goed. Per kamer was er een bijpassende parkeerplaats met het nummer van de kamer, zo sta je altijd precies voor je eigen kamer. Supermooi authentiek motel met hele leuke, oude originele details. We zaten in kamer 1 en daarom iets meer last van het geluid van de weg waaraan het hotel ligt maar voor de rest een top verblijf.'

'A few things keep this from being 5 star across the board: no hair dryer in the room and casita private courtyard landscaping not maintained like rest of the grounds. Otherwise, this place is a gem in Taos.'

'The room I got fit my needs perfectly as a solo traveler and staff were very nice at this location in Raton, New Mexico. The room was large enough to feel comfortable with a microwave, refrigerator and bathtub. The only issue I had was the Wi-Fi connectivity that was about 20% reliable and I did not have cell service so it limited all of my phone and iPad usage. I stayed across the street from the office, which is probably why, and they may consider moving the router or adding one to that side...

'Room was clean, bed was comfy- shower curtain and showerhead placement were tricky to navigate as water would shoot all over the bathroom floor unless the shower head was held in a specific way, so made a relaxing shower a bit more difficult. Some noise could be heard through the walls and floors, which led to waking up a few times in the night. Very minor complaints for a very enjoyable stay overall.'

'The staff were friendly, and the room itself was a good value for the price. However, there were two very legitimate issues that affected my stay. First, the bathroom toilet was extremely small — honestly, it felt child-sized. Second, the noise from the room upstairs made it very difficult to sleep. I could hear footsteps as early as 4:50 a.m., and after driving 13 hours to get there, I was hoping for a restful night. I did share this concern with the front desk, they claimed i would be refunded...

'The coffee offered in the morning should at least be accompanied by a danish and orange juice. All that was offered was coffee (only).'
