'Rooms were not clean, our bed sheets had stains on them, bathroom very small and we showered with flip flops as you could see the tiles were never cleaned and also there was no room cleaning service for the whole weekend they only gave you clean towels upon request. Water pressure was absolutely terrible. Staff were nice nothing to say about them, breakfast was good. Best part was the Aerie restaurant definitely worth the view, vibe and food. This is at driving distance to downtown Traverse...

'Pros: Very nice place in a beautiful area with large lakefront rooms a few minutes from downtown Mackinaw City. They have bonfires & smores at sunset on their beach, and a basic breakfast buffet in the morning. Cons: Room was a musty, breakfast was just ok, coffee was sub-par.'

'My wife and I loved our hotel room, complimentary breakfast, roomy and clean bathroom and shower area, very comfortable, clean beds, very friendly and helpful staff all around from the front desk, house keeping, kitchen staff and the location is superb in that it is close to Peteosky, Bay Shore and downtown Charlevoix. So, I must whole heartedly recommend to everyone who wants to pick an excellent place to stay, it would be here.'

My only complaints: the balcony had some kind of water issue and half of it was a large puddle of water. The room is nice, but not a fan of the sink outside the bathroom. Wish they had healthier options for the breakfast, but overall a nice hotel, clean beach, and play area. Nice view as well.'

'The water park was bad. Water slides torn down the pool had no signs to tell you how deep it was and the kiddy play area was freezing. And the humidity in the rooms was terrible the carpet felt wet. It’s gone down hill since we stayed here 6 years ago. Will not be coming back'
