'Beautiful place to stay, would love to stay there again.'

'When I booked this hotel it was an AmericInn, however when I arrived it was changed to a Quality Inn with no prior indication. I did receive calls from Windham but they never left a message to identify the change prior to my check in. The building did not have any address on it to help identify it as the hotel we needed to be at. Otherwise, it was a very clean hotel. The staff did their best with what appeared to be a new system. 'Breakfast was very very LOW quality food. I tried buy water in the Vending machine, paid for it, the bottle did not come out, it got stock and guy at the reception told me I have to call the company myself. I was not going to waist my time calling for $2-3 drink. When we made the reservation there was a bonus a free ride for 2, when we got there initially the guy at reception did not have idea what it was and then he said it is not working at this time. 'We had a great stay at the Grand Beach Resort! We went for Memorial Day weekend and I was pleasantly surprised with the accommodating nature of the staff (especially Adriel!!!) . They handled our minor concerns with care and professionalism and the room was clean, breakfast was timely and tasty, and the beach was maintained and so enjoyable - all for a reasonable price, even on a holiday weekend. I will DEFINITELY be back when I return to Traverse City and will recommend to others.'

'The property was nice, mostly clean, and what you'd expect from a descent hotel. Staff were friendly and quick. The extended continental breakfast, while included in the price, was nothing to be excited about. The only negative was the room smelled likely due to the HVAC unit. Overall, it was a fine place to rest your head.'

'Room interior was nicely renovated but bathroom needs updating. Pool and hot tub area not connected so have to walk outside to get there. Pool building needs some work and the pool/hot tub needed to be cleaned. Fire pits and smores on the beach were a wonderful surprise. The staff was great and very friendly.'

'My parents, daughter and I stayed in two rooms for 5 days in March during a family reunion, and enjoyed our visit. We especially appreciated how friendly and helpful the staff was, the tasty weekday breakfasts, and being able to see the bay from our balcony. We also had a great supper one evening and buffet breakfast on Saturday in the ParkShore Restaurant on site. It was only an 10 minute drive into the downtown Front Street! Wonderful place to stay, and would highly recommend!'

'Person working at the desk was very friendly. Room was large and clean with a beautiful lake view. The hallways were very dirty with midges, q-tips, screws, and whatever else you could find. Breakfast was super crowded. At best you could say it filled you up. Exercise room was a joke and should not be advertised. If you're able to look past the very dirty halls and not so clean pool area, then it is a bargain for what you pay.'

'We love how big the rooms are with amazing views of the bay. The beach area is well-maintained and the free breakfast is appreciated although there could be a better assortment of foods. Great hotel for families, located close to many things to do for kids in the area. The outdoor pool was being serviced while we were there so was no water in it or the hot tub which was disappointing. This is our 2nd time staying here and we would go back, the kids love it there.'

'The location was great but the hotel itself was disappointing. It has a lovely beach but it wasn’t kept clean. Toys and items of trash were still there the following 2 days.
