'Great little stay, great amenities'

'The Mason Arms is a wonderful place to stay in the Centre of Louth … parking easy 5 minutes walk … the rooms are spacious and bright lovely bed and bathroom breakfast fabulous we will Be back'

'Really clean room. Boutique decor.'

'Nicely decorated. Very clean. Well positioned. Excellent breakfast.'

'goed en proper hotel .lekker ontbijt.'

'The staff were not the most helpful. We were attending the wedding of my brother in law and wanted early access to our room to get ready. They said they would 'try'. It was 1.55pm when we were given access - the checkout time was 11.00am and the wedding was due to start at 3.15pm. They should have prioritised our room but I felt they were just being awkward. The room was ok for the price. The breakfast was good, but they still tried to charge us for it even though we'd paid for it the night...

'You feel like home here. Jo is a lovely host and very helpful with sharing information and arranging things like a taxiservice. Flexible times for check in, cosy and clean room, nice bed. The full english breakfast is a must-do, one of the bests we experienced.'

'Liked all. Continental breakfast but loads to choose from.'

'Hotel zelf was best redelijk, typisch Engels, niet helemaal meer bij de tijd maar beslist niet slecht. Bed was wel een minpunt, hard. Kamer was ruim. Ontbijt prima (tegen 9 GBP bijbetaling).

'Lovely overnight stay. Nice breakfast. Bathroom a little dark with having black floor and walls but clean. Nothing we didn't like.'

'Mo was great, sorted any issues and was very welcoming and friendly. Would stay again.'

'Lodge was more spacious then we expected, with everything we needed for a 3 night stay. Hot tub was a hit with us all and in a private spot.'

'The hut was amazing & laid our really well. Unfortunately the cleanliness was not up to my standards. There was a squished fly on the coffee table & it required dusting considerably. The bathroom was clean though. We didn't see a member of staff the whole time we were there (2 days) & to contact anyone was difficult too. The hot tub was very nice, but for the money paid I would expect a daily refill of wood. We had to buy quite a bit more to use it. Lastly, they have a carpark for all cars....

'Absolutely beautiful house in a tranquil setting. It was fully equipped with everything we needed. Fab hosts who were always on hand and checked if we were ok or needed anything. '
