Chalets in North Shore

'Our stay at the Marriott was unfortunately a very disappointing experience. Considering the price charged, the rooms and amenities were well below expectations and offered poor value for money. The most disturbing issue was the hygiene of the room. It was infested with small cockroaches crawling on the walls, bed and bathroom floors. We immediately reported this to the hotel management, who assured us that pest control treatment would be carried out the following day. However, no action was...

'Heavily overpriced for the quality you get (on food and beverages). Also paying for beach chairs etc. Hotel is nice and we enjoyed the installation but food and beverages were very basic while all charged on premium rates. Also very high fees to rent beach equipment which in my point of view is outrageous. We have much better experiences in Hawaii concerning that so definitively something to improve. No problem to pay a price but you expect something in return which we didn't feel at all. '

'Super cute one bedroom mini apartment. My husband and I both thought the bed was really comfortable. We both slept great. The communication was top-notch when I needed assistance. Instructions on how to get into the property confused me a smidgen but I'm new to using VRBO. I wish the Wi-Fi would have worked in the unit. That was my only frustration but everything else I thought was well worth the price.'

'This was a perfect place to stay. You walk out the sliding glass doors and are in paradise. It is a short walk to the beach where you have umbrellas and chairs to use. The snorkeling at the bay was unbeatable. We took a trip to Hanauma Bay to snorkel and saw less than we did snorkeling at the villa’s bay. I will never stay anywhere else. Totally worth the money to stay here. '

'We stayed for 5 nights in this very nice condo and had a great time. It was very clean, had a well equipped kitchen and a good bed. It is a great place as a fall out for visiting the island. 'We enjoy the North Shore but it can be difficult to find a rental near the town of Haleiwa. So I started looking at rentals within the Turtle Bay complex to be near a cluster of amenities without driving far for every meal or beach visit. The condos just outside the resort were a great solution, keeping us within walking distance of the beach and restaurants. This condo is situated on, I believe, Hole 1 of the Fazio golf course. It is currently closed for work so people would go for morning...

'Management was available to help us locating the unit after a prolonged travel day (it was late at night). The unit was just as described. One pool was just a few steps away from the building. The golf course was behind the unit and had a nice walking path. It was a great location and allowed for us to explore the North Shore. Would recommend booking with Helena and her team!!'

'This unit was perfect for our family of 4. We loved the location right on the golf course so the kids could run around on the lawn while we sat on the screened lanai and had a drink. Also a super quick walk to the resort and beach for sunset!Everything in the unit was updated and very clean, and loved that the pull out couch was already made with sheets and a blanket as soon as we pulled it out. We would definitely stay here again.'

'Jill was a wonderful host. The rental was perfect for the first few nights of our honeymoon. We were both feeling tired and under the weather after our wedding and it ended up being the perfect place to decompress and get some read before heading to honolulu for the rest of our trip. 'The property was perfect for our adult family. The condo itself was clean and comfortable with everything we needed for our stay. The beds were comfy. The air conditioning was nice after the warm sunny days. The amenities such as the washer/dryer , outdoor supplies for the beach, stocked kitchen, and extra amenities were a thoughtful touch. The grounds are beautiful and the pools are very nice! Highly recommend for an ideal Oahu getaway!'
