'Beautiful place'

'We love the hotel, the staff could not be more welcoming and warm and helpful and accommodating, our room facing the mountains and the pool is beautiful, very clean, amazing coffee shop, everybody takes a lot of pride in their work, gorgeous holiday decorations, late night cocktails, and snacks and desserts and in room service make it the perfect getaway!'

'The room was clean and well-appointed. Mike at check-in was efficient and friendly. Throughout our stay, the front desk staff (Mike, another young man, and Linda) were friendly, helpful and responsive (explaining heat and fan controls, providing casual restaurant recommendations, providing map of Palm Springs and the area, etc.). Good coffee, hardboiled eggs, muffins, yogurt, cereal, milk for continental breakfast. Smaller classic hotel centered around attractive courtyard and small pool. '

'The rooms are ok, but do not fit the bill for a 4 star accommodation. There is not even a safe in the room. They offer a safe at the reception, but this does not really provide you with the feeling your stuff is as safe as if it would be locked up in your room. The rooms are done up to a reasonable standard. It feels like there was only a limited budget available to upgrade the rooms; it definitely focussed on looks over quality. We where staying for only 1 night and although it did not look...
