'The history of the property was fascinating. Staying in the middle of that history was wonderful. I can't praise our excellent host enough. She was a wealth of local history, and gave tremendous recommendations for local food and sites to visit.'

'The management and staff were quite lovely. We had to leave a day early because of a family issue at a wedding, and I broke down in front of the man there and he was SO KIND! (Which made me cry even more) A lovely location, and we loved the gazebo! '

'What a charming place. Loved the wine and cheese in the afternoon. Breakfast was homemade, original one of the best we have ever had. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Enjoyed the charm and all the little details, tea, china, furnishings. They recommended a Mexican restaurant for dinner with the best fish tacos ever. Will definitely come again!'

'We had the best time staying with Edward and his family at Captain's Quarters in Fort Bragg. Edward was so hospitable from the moment we arrived to the beautiful home & instantly made us feel like a part of the family. The Captain's Quarters was a beautiful property with historic & meticulously maintained rooms, located a short ten-minute walk from Downtown Fort Bragg and just a little bit further to the beach. 'We slept in tower 1. Very nice room with an excellent bed and clean. The people are very nice. The Inn is nearby the center of Mendocino and is in walking distance of everything. We enjoyed our stay very much. Improvement suggestion: less sugar during breakfast! Everything they serve is sugar rich. Very sweet granola, only sweetened joghurt, sweet scones; no natural joghurt, no ham and no cheese.'

'Don't know if there could be a better bnb in Trinidad. Maybe the best bnb we've ever encountered. The room was very spacious and clean. The view of the harbor from our room was amazing. The location is perfect. Tyler is a top-notch innkeeper- incredibly competent and accommodating. We would love to come back and stay here again. '
