'The Atlantic House is in the perfect location with amazing views, which is why we chose to stay there. The hotel needs updating. It’s generally clean, bedspreads don’t match the old curtains still hanging, pleather couch and chair in room. The beds were comfortable though. 'We stayed at the hotel because we had a weekend wedding in South Kingstown. Everything was great. Room was very clean, staff very friendly and the beds were so comfortable! Breakfast was very good too. And since we had to bring our Shih Tzu, it was also a huge plus that the hotel is pet friendly. We highly recommend the hotel if you plan to stay in the South Kingstown/Narragansett area.'

'The room was very clean and tastefully decorated. However, the staff at the reception were quite distant, whereas in a boutique hotel, a warmer and more welcoming attitude would be expected. As two female guests, perhaps because we stayed only one night, it felt strange to be given the room right by the entrance/office area.'

'This is a beautifully restored historic home. I can't say enough good things about the property and house and staff. We stayed in the Governor's Suite which was very nice and roomy and big roomy bathroom. I must say there are stairs. You must be able to carry your suitcases up the stairs into the house and into your room. Breakfast was very good. Good choices and good coffee. Many things here are within walking distance and felt very safe. I do suggest the trolley tour as you will see...
