'Top notch service at a magical property. Stayed in the vineyard view room and it was phenomenal. All the staff are incredibly helpful, pleasant and went out of their way to ensure our stay was nothing short of perfect. The "lake" pool is incredible, and is perfectly complimented by their in-house wines which they will bring to you at the pool! Could not recommend the hotel enough! '

'The surroundings are beautiful, all vineyards. Know that this is in a pretty isolated area and it requires driving on small two lane mountain roads with some hairpin turns to get here. We were practically the only guests here during our stay, and had a breakfast spread waiting for us each morning. We had the infinity pool to ourselves. The grounds are great. The room was kind of fancy looking, but romantic. (Note: glass walls on the bathroom.) Also note, you have to drive at least 15 minutes...

'Prachtig terrein tussen de wijngaarden, goed onderhouden, aan de rand van een rustig plaatsje (dorpskern op zo'n 20 minuten lopen). Ons appartement was ruim, licht, schoon en stil, in nieuwstaat met kwalitatief goede en duurzame materialen (zoals de plavuizenvloer en aluminium kozijnen met dubbel glas). 'We had a wonderful stay at this quiet green country home at the river Douro. It was only 15 minutes away from Porto city and it was such a delight to return home after sightseeing and being able to relax on the terrace overlooking the river. There is also a wonderful swimming pool which is a walk uphill. The pool was cleaned every morning. Everything you need is at the house. Thank you, Elsa, for your hospitality!'
