'One of the best price/quality options for your stay in Chicago. Great neighbourhood with lots of (rather expensive) restaurants and bars. Supermarket around the corner. Metro station at 10 minutes walking distance. The Villa Toscana is a charming old house with nice garden and verandah. Rooms are a bit small and stuffy, with no view or possibility to open windows in the bottom rooms, although the owner unscrewed one of the closed windows for us to let in a bit of fresh air. 'My son and I had a wonderful stay! The home was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, decorated with antiques, and well-stocked with everything we needed. Communication with the host was excellent from booking through check-out, and they were friendly, responsive, and accommodating. The property was well maintained. Mary is amazing and her homemade breakfast was the perfect way to start our morning. We truly enjoyed our time here and would happily stay again. Highly recommend this property...
