« This place is, as advertised, bizarre and beautiful. My wife and I loved it and will return whenever we visit our son a couple miles up the road. Being from Alaska, AC is very important to us and it worked perfectly for us. The beds were quite comfortable, all the furniture was comfortable, the TV was big and had a great picture, and the kitchen, while small had everything we needed. One caveat though. We would caution people with mobility/accessibility issues . There are uneven steps up or down...

« The place was clean, quiet, and really well laid out to make a small space work well. It's clear a lot of care goes into taking care of it! I especially enjoyed sitting on the little porch in the evenings, and appreciated the labeled cabinets (and thoughtful snacks!) »

« It was clean and the host was very good at communication; however, it was in a very dangerous neighborhood and we did not feel safe. My husband had to leave a day before the three kids and I so we stayed somewhere else for our last night. There were numerous in-housed people on the streets, gunshots in the stop sign etc. In addition, there were not enough pillows for our family, and no laundry detergent. »

« The apartment was very clean, and free of clutter. Everything that we needed for a weekend stay was provided. I did not have to communicate with the host during my stay. We stayed in October; the weather did not permit using the pool facility. »

« Better than a hotel. The manager was reachable for questions, like when we couldn’t get the door unlocked. It's a nondescript building with three units. The building looks sketchy from the outside, but it was lovely inside. It was homey. Had a coffee maker with coffee, tea, cream, sugar. There were pots, pans, silverware, dishes, everything you need to cook, which we did. Full size refrigerator. It has wide couch that could double as a bed. If two people are using the bed, one has to crawl over...
