'Family of 5 (2 adults, 3 teens) stayed for long weekend. Friendly and fairly quick communication with Fabian was appreciated. House is approx 1 to 1.5 miles to Long Island Sound and beach. Nice and quiet neighborhood. The place was clean with exception of downstairs which had some of the owner's personal belongings strewn about. 'The place was clean. Very comfortable. He had refreshments in the fridge. 2nd time here. The host is very easy to get to answer from. We are coming back again soon.'

'Spacious. Exceedingly clean. Well-stocked kitchen and linens: plenty of towels, BIG coffee mugs. We three were very happy with it. Shore is pebbly, not sandy right now because of storms. Regarding accessibility, there is a step up from first floor bedroom to the bathroom.'

'The cottage house had a warm, welcoming vibe to it. It was very well maintained. The grounds were beautiful. The home had everything available that you could possibly want. It was very cozy. We had relatives from Italy with us and they absolutely loved it. I would definitely go back and I highly recommend it. Congratulations to the owners, because they have done a wonderful job with it.'

'This place on Vrbo was great! I was worried about the comments that I had read about the house itself. The house was clean and had a very nice decoration. I had a bit of a problem finding the correct building and parking, but overall, I would stay here again, Ivette was a great host!'

'Stayed at Coastal Retreat for a weekend visit with son who attends Fairfield University, brought both sets of parents and teen daughter (ages ranging 73-16), plenty of room and able to enjoy a wonderful family dinner with son even in attendance. Wonderful area, close walk to beach and easy to get to downtown Fairfield and university. Very clean and welcoming! 'This was walking distance to the Total Mortgage Arena for our robotics competition. Having the full kitchen to cook meals was awesome. Nice comfy beds, plenty of space, I claimed the nook off the kitchen/dining area for myself. Boys had front room to work on their robot.'

'The location was good for our needs and the place well maintained. There were scent devices in many outlets and two of our guests are allergic. We had to unplug them and air out the home. It would be good to alert guests to those devices and allow them to choose to have them not present.'

'We really enjoyed out stay. The suite was clean and spacious. Good wifi connection and enough parking spaces. Friendly staff and simple but good breakfast options. Only downside were the unclean carpets, when walking barefoot the soles of our feet turned black! '
