Woonboten in Newport

'Very well maintained and fab to stay. We had dinner there and it was fabulous. I booked a table in advance. It was full when we were there, so would recommend booking ahead. Steak and shiraz with a peppercorn sauce. Breakfast was set out on a full table to help yourself with juices, cereal, pastry, croissants, toast and there were jams a plenty to chose, along with marmite. There were muffins and bars along with fruit basket. We were greeted and asked if wale would like tea or coffee. Staff...

'The hotel overall was excellent. On arrival was welcomed, given room and told when breakfast was served the next day. Room clean and in keeping with the history of the building (Grade 2). The breakfast was very good and all staff were very helpful. Would highly recommend.'

'Location. Dusty in nooks and crannies. The inside of the velux window in the bathroom is completely covered in old spiders webs with flies that have been there a while.'

'Great rooms with good air conditioning. Very nicely appointed and the restaurant downstairs was fantastic. Would recommend and would definitely stay here again.'

'We had a very nice stay and the property is very well situated just off the Town Centre from where you can catch a bus to anywhere on the island. Very good breakfast and the owner was very nice and helpful. The only slight downside was that the television in the room was very small.'

It was freezing when we arrived but the heating, once I figured it out was effective. Unfortunately there were no logs or kindling for the fire which would have been beautiful. Also, the cues for the pool table were broken but we managed to partially fix one and had a few games with a beer or two - an added bonus! These are...

'We had a wonderfull time at your place en will come again'

'Prima locatie in het hart van West Cowes, directe en frequente via boot en bus. Personeel is voorkomend en behulpzaam. Accomodatie is sterk verouderd en aftands, tegelijkertijd is de dagelijkse roomservice goed, en de bedden comfortabel.'

'Our stay was luvly, right qhere we wanted to be very cl8se to the beach, rooms very comfortable and clean.Rosemary and David are very friendly and helpful. The breakfasts are brilliant, we had something different each day and no complaints from us and the warm lemon drizzle cake was divine.'

'部屋も清潔で家族4人安心して泊まることができました。徒歩2分の距離にcoopがありますのでとても便利です。もちろん部屋には水やスナック、コーヒーや紅茶のサービスがありました。満足しています。'

'We had a wonderful break. Very friendly'

'Really friendly staff and good location, but the hotel is quite outdated and the beds were not very comfortable. '

'Very friendly and efficient checkin. Spacious clean room with very comfortable bed. No AC but fan provided in room due to warm weather. Very good cooked breakfast made to order, Excellent dinner in fine dining restraurant.'
