'Het motel ademt de sfeer van de jaren 60. De kamer die wij hadden heeft uitzicht op het parkeerterrein en niet op zee. De kamer is donker met alleen een klein raam aan de voorkant. De kamer ruikt muf en de inrichting is oubollig met verouderde spullen. Er is echter wel veel. Je kunt er koken en er is bijvoorbeeld zelfs een blikopener.'

'The property is nice..most units are good..big shrimp daddy needs work…every door creaks, I had to oil some just to be able to stand the noise…kitchen sliding door is old and keeps coming off the hinges, there’s too much furniture in there to be able to move around easily, the dining chairs are ripped…yeah, just needs some TLC '

'The D Sands complex is centrally located and handy for getting wherever you want to go. It's an older complex but has been nicely maintained. The unit that we stayed in appears to have been updated in recent years and while I wouldn't call it modern, it was certainly clean and nicely appointed. When we arrived the TV in the living room wasn't working. After a bit of checking I determined that none of the electrical on that wall was working. I found the breaker box but nothing had tripped.
