Perfect getaway spot, low discounted rates, 200 steps to the sand at pier 51!!

This property is the perfect spot to set up camp for a week at the beach. It is about 200 steps to the sand. It is in the perfect location along this little strand of coast to utilize all the surrounding piers. It is about a mile walk down to the Newport pier. Close enough to walk (takes us about 30 minutes along the water) or bike to the shops and restaurants, but far enough to escape the parking lots that bring in larger day use crowds. You have 2 reserved parking spots which is a bonus because parking can be hard to find! This unit is our downstairs condo. Both units (downstairs and upstairs) have their own private entrance on opposite sides of the building along with their own private patio. You do not share any space but the driveway.) This unit is downstairs, so you may hear people upstairs if they have heavy feet, but we have more than made up for that it with our low nightly rate!!! From our reviews, you will see we have a lot of families that are very happy with the great price and great location and stay here year after year. It includes a master bedroom with a queen bed and a private bathroom. A second bedroom with a queen bed and a third bedroom with a full over full bunk bed. It has a second full shared bathroom in the hall. When you enter the property, it has an open concept living area with a couch and a dining table so that everyone can hang out in the same space. All of the bedrooms, as well as the living area, have flat screen TVs on the wall. The kitchen is stocked with everything you would need to eat in. It has a coffee maker (pot and keurig) toaster and microwave. There is a patio out back with a sitting area, a charcoal BBQ and a small fire pit. This unit There are bikes, beach chairs, sand toys, umbrellas and a washer/dryer in the garage. We do our best to keep our property well maintained and up to date. We just have this one little property that we fell in love with and enjoy visiting to make lasting memories with our family and enjoying sharing it with other families doing the same thing. We are happy to help with any part of your vacation we can, from planning to restaurant suggestions. We hope you will enjoy our humble home and love it here as much as we do!

If it’s a quiet 5 star hotel you’re looking for keep looking. But if you want a casual, fun, relaxing beach stay this is for you! A vintage Newport duplex with all its quirks and fun vibe.the properties are all in close proximity; the weekend energy is palatable. The property is well equipped In every way; Bikes, beach chairs, kitchen tools, BBQ, on site parking and a comfortable cross breeze when the front door and slider are open. It’s located on the north end of the peninsula (my preference) which has much less traffic and congestion but easy access to the pier, Fun Zone, PCH and great restaurants. The location is just steps to the sand with lifeguard stations. The back patio is a plus! We were a family of five adults in town for a UCI graduation and enjoyed our four night stay. I would not hesitate to book again.

The home was a bit dated but comfortable and had everything you need. It is in a great location, just steps to the beach (120 steps to be exact, lol). There were a few minor inconveniences, the light in the dining room didn't work. And several of the outlets wouldnt work but we managed. Would absolutely stay here agsi !

Great Location!

Location was conveniently close to the beach . . . a short 100 yard walk. We were able to experience the ocean without having to drive and park. The three bedrooms were adequately furnished and the beds were comfortable.The host was extremely accommodating and replied to messages quickly. We would definitely consider staying here again.

Annual "Nana" trip with grandsons

This was our first trip to Newport. Condo location is fabulous with the added bonus of off-street parking. Stephanie was extremely responsive and helpful with a few inquiries we had. Beach was close enough to spend the day and run back to condo for breaks often. Kitchen is well equipped. Everything is as described. We hope to make this our new annual destination.

Perfect location in Newport!

Loved our stay in Newport Beach! The house is only one house back from the beach, and a short bike ride to the Newport Beach boardwalk. Absolutely perfect location for our California vacation! Super awesome to have garage and driveway parking, which is a hot commodity in the Newport area. House had several bikes, beach chairs, a couple boogey boards, wagon and beach umbrella. Nice to have a washer and dryer too. The house had all the pots, pans, and eating utensils necessary to cook and eat at home. No spices or things for cooking, though, which was fine, since we didn't plan on cooking any major meals. Price was right, and the homeowner was very responsive and a pleasure to work with. Thanks so much!

Newport Beach in November

Great place and location. The only negative, which the owner clearly warned us about is being able to hear the upstairs renters - Really well... Music, footsteps and chairs were super loud even without my hearing aids :) So, if the renters are into staying up until 4:00am like ours did on Friday then you might as well go join them because getting sleep is not going to be much of an option.

Great location, lots to do.

We enjoyed our stay. Mere steps to the beach to lay out or just sit and have a tea. Close to Newport and Balboa with tons of places to eat, drink, and play games. We even took the ferry for a few bucks. There was a fire pit in the back that came in real handy. Place was clean and well equipped with everything you need. There were bikes and beach toys to use whenever we wanted. Host responded to all our questions promptly at all times (not too late).

We had a great time. The house was perfect for our needs. 3 bedroom with 4 great beds. My granddaughters love the full size bunk beds. Well equipped kitchen and lots of ceiling fans. The best part… the beach was steps away. We’ll be back!

We had a blast !

I book a space every year for my birthday so that all my kids and my grandkids can get together and enjoy the beach. I usually book in San Diego area. This year was a little different due to the fact that my daughter had a couple of things she had to do on Saturday, needless to say I wasn’t very excited about staying so close to home. But …I must say this was one of the best stays we had together. The location was perfect. We were able to walk back-and-forth from the ocean to the house throughout the day and night. The place was pretty clean. It had enough room for all of us plus visitors that would pop up here and there. We were able to barbecue and hang out in the back patio every night. There was some reviews that stated that the upstairs unit created a lot of noise, but honestly, it wasn’t too bad. We would hear footsteps every now and then but that’s about it. The only thing I have to say is the kitchen wasn’t supplied with simple items like salt and pepper but next time I book I’ll know bring my own salt and pepper lol I have nothing negative to say this was an amazing place !! We will book again !

Perfect for Family

We would stay here again. The unit had everything we needed for a longer stay. Quiet neighborhood even though neighbors are very close. Everything was very clean at check-in. The two minute walk to the beach was the best feature. Very close to a few takeout food options. It was so nice that the local beach in August wasn’t too crowded. A bit warm for sleeping in August but the fans in the bedrooms helped. The kids loved the large bunk beds and their own TV. Laundry in the garage was a plus!

Great location!

Our family rented the upper & lower unit! We had plenty of room and did all our own cooking & eating in the downstairs back patio! 100 steps to the sand! (my grandson counted!) This is our 3rd time here and we will be back!

Relaxing Newport vacation

Our 2nd time staying here. Had super nice neighbors upstairs who helped with the parking situation on 4th of July so our friends and their family all had parking spots. The house is spacious with a well stocked kitchen. All the beach supplies are provided from chairs and umbrellas to beach toys and brand new beach cruisers. 4th of July is always a blast with all of the fireworks on the beach and neighboring piers. Lots of food options close by, pizza, tacos, sushi, diners and fine dining. Charcoal bbq and fire pit in the private back patio. Super short walk to the beach and never had trouble finding a spot on the sand. Waves were super treacherous a few of the days and lifeguards were working hard rescuing people and issuing instructions and warnings. The other days the waves were strong but fun for our teens. The day after the 4th things calmed down and neighborhood was quiet again. Very pleased with the accommodations. Only down side is there is no ocean view from the downstairs unit and we could hear people’s footsteps above us. We love Newport and this location is great. Very close to the beach and eateries but quiet enough to be relaxing. We will be back again.

We had a wonderful time. The location was perfect, just one block from the beach. The garage was stocked with beach toys and bicycles that we could use. The house was clean. The patio was a quiet place to sit outside. The beds were comfortable. Overall, it was very nice.

Cozy beach house

Was a perfect cozy beach house. Close to Newport and Hunnington beaches, close enough to drive to Disney as well. The only downfall is yiu can hear the folks upstairs, other than that the place was perfect for our family. The kids used the bikes and ejoyed riding everywhere.

Family with Adult Children

It was important for us that our sons had their own beds since they are adults, but we still wanted to stay as a family somewhere. This beach house was perfect! The kids surfed, we went to Disney one day and had a great time exploring the Newport Beach area. The location is amazing! Clean house with great bathrooms and comfortable beds.
